yes hello welcome to arby's
i'm your host billy mays
Translation: I came up with a ton of ideas for special items; don't take this seriously. I came up with some for you goodies and some for you baddies out there, so feel free to critique or whatever. I probably made all of them OP af anyways.
here we go
NOTE:
When I say "one-time", I mean that only one person can purchase it one time. As in, it's first come first serve, and there's only one of every item. I know this probably isn't possible due to how the shop works, but if there's a chance it might then I'd go with that. With that, lets get down to business.
Goodie(TM) Items:
The Great Saiya-suit
Centuries ago, when evil plagued the land, legend tells the story of a man (or was it a woman? Our sources are conflicting.) known as The Great Saiyaman, an alien who time and time again saved the world from danger. Some people even consider him as great a hero as Hercule. However, he was not immortal, and the Great Saiyaman eventually put down his helmet for good. Recently, however, there have been rumors going around that in a time of imminent strife and suffering, a new Saiyaman could rise...
The Great Saiya-Suit is a one-time special item purchasable for a very limited time at the cost of 50,000 XP, and can only be purchased by those deemed worthy to don the suit. Think of it like King Kai training back on Souls.
Heroes Never Die! - The Great Saiya-Suit comes with many different perks. One of which is the actual suit itself. Although it appears to be frail, it is actual quite sturdy. It provides a +x1 defense boost when hit with an attack that exceeds 100% of your PL. Note that you can't stack this onto Racial Durability to make a +x2.
Great Saiyabeam! Go! - The Saiya-Suit comes equipped with an incredibly old laser gun. It surprisingly still works. Purchasing the Saiya-Suit allows you to gain the [N1], [V2], and [UV3] Great Saiyabeam, who’s V2 and UV3 variants have a homing effect.
Behold the Champion of Justice! - The best thing about becoming the Great Saiyaman is immediate mastery of the [SIG], Pose of Justice. It counts as an Item SIG. It doesn't use any KP, but you can only use it once per thread. You can not perform any other techs the turn you use it. You perform the famous Justice Pose one post, and receive your rewards the next. Being hit with a tech(s) that add up to be over 50% of your PL while performing the pose will result in it being cancelled. This cancellation counts as your one attempt per thread. If you manage to complete the pose, then for the rest of the thread you gain one-time access to two of the following abilities:
Positive Encouragement! - Give 1 KP to someone in the thread (who’s not you).
Justice NEVER Sleeps! - The next time you get hit with a tech under 100% your PL, you can dodge it for no KP cost.
Justice...RUSH! - The next tech you perform deals 33% more damage.
The Z-Sword
Forged millions of years ago, the Z-Sword WAS a sword that was restricted to the Land of the Kais. However, recently Kais have begun travelling from their sacred land to the mortal planets, such as Earth. With more and more Kais moving back and forth, the Z-Sword was lost in the chaos. Legend says that the Z-Sword was a powerful weapon with an ancient being locked inside, but the being has since been removed. But rumor has it, another creature has been locked in its place. The Z-Sword has been reforged to be the most powerful sword in the universe. And yet, its current location is unknown...
The Z-Sword is a one-time special item purchasable for a very limited time at the cost of 50,000 XP.
Strongest Sword in the Universe - The Z-Sword is incredibly heavy, and can not be wielded by weaklings. However, this heaviness can be useful, as it can assist with training. Those who are below 250,000 PL can use the Z-Sword as Heavy Weights in Training Threads. For those of you who weren't with us on Souls, this means that you can reduce your PL in threads by 75%, but you also gain a 75% increase in XP gains. Those who are above 250k PL do not receive any bonuses, but...
The Final Attack - The most powerful move the Z-Sword can offer, at the cost of the Z-Sword's life, you can use [SIG] Z-Slash. This SIG counts as an Item SIG. The special thing about the Z-Slash is that it becomes stronger the more PL the character has while using it. Characters under 125,000 PL use it at 100%, characters between 125,000 and 250,000 use it at 133%, and above 250,000 can use it at a whopping 200% PL. In other words, if you train with the Z-Sword to its fullest extent, then you will get the most out of it when it matters most.
Millenia's Rebirth - Once the Z-Sword breaks after using the Z-Slash, the creature that is sealed inside will be reborn. The starting PL for this character is 50,000. Race, moveset, etc. are completely choosable by the user. However, what sets this minion apart from the rest is the [UT] Z-Soul. It gives the minion the ability to share up to half of its base PL with your character, giving you an increase in PL. The downside of this is that you have to go down a Tier of transformations if you use this. For example, if you're a Super Saiyan, then you can't use it while you have Z-Soul on.
Ebil Items (TM)
The Destron Gas
i don't have a cool backstory for this one because i'm sleepy i'll edit one in later
The Destron Gas is a one-time special item purchaseable for a very limited time at the cost of 50,000 XP.
Clones of Destruction - The Destron Gas has the unique capability of creating gaseous clones of other, malicious beings. In order to create a clone of someone, all you have to do is obtain a sample of their DNA by interacting with them in a thread. The clone's PL is equal to that of their counterpart's base PL. They also gain a multiplier based on the number of clones spawned (max. 4)
Clone of Destruction (x5) - 1 Clone
Nightmarish Assault (x4) 2 Clones
Terrible Trio (x3) - 3 Clones
Horrendous Gauntlet (x2) 4 Clones
Gaseous Form - The clones created from the Destron Gas have amazing defensive capabilities, thanks to their gaseous form. They have the reduce the damage of any attack that would K.O. them to 0, but each one can only perform this technique once per thread. In addition, techniques that are less than 50% of their PL simply phase straight through them.
Decaying Waste - When the Destron Gas is activated in a thread, in addition to spawning in clones, it also has an additional effect. Over time, it will slowly drain characters of their base PL in intervals of -5% (max -20%). Transformations that are blocked off by the decay can not be used. Characters with the technique [UT] Atmos are immune to this effect.
UP NEXT: Kachi Kacchin Armor, GodPad, and the Big Gete Star.
now if only i could put this same effort into actual posts lmao
oh and reminder that these are probably all broken af
