Powerlevel:225,000 Yudi Powerlevel:5,000 (Off for now)
Typha had been not doing much since he had been revived. There was some sort of peace. The stargoons seemed to have vanished, sadly for him one of them being Ashi. His brother he was not sure what was going on with him. He heard rumors of Konats being in some odd state but he was unsure what he could do about it. He could never try to overthrow his brother. Guess he'd have to ask him sometime. But he had his own duties to help those all across the universe. He could not idle on one planet. Right now though he needed to help someone and it related to Konats. Yogu, who had Konats blow and someone he had a complex relationship with.
Yogu had been the one to kill him the first time but that had been when he was under the control of Monster. He had heard a few things about his actions though not much. But he decided e wanted to help him out. Yogu was apart of the Konats bloodline and even though he had made a lot of mistakes, Typha had decreed the day those machines came to terrorize his home he'd not let another Konatsian fall. He'd keep his blade ready to defend anyone he could. So he called Yogu up and told him to meet him in the Diablo Desert. He sent Yudi off to go get some food. He wanted to talk to Yogu one on one as brothers of Konats. Though he knew that Yogu didn't know much about Konats, Typha thought it was the time he told him a bit more and helped him out in any other areas he could. Typha was not just here to help with his blade afterall, his mind was there to help as well.

Yogu had been meaning to talk to Typha again. After his talk with Carro, and the subsequent fight with Yanwang, he had begun formulating a plan. But for this plan, he'd need a skilled Konatsian warrior, someone that knew a lot about his... Condition. And who was the most knowledgeable on Konatsian monsters and demons that he knew? Typha, of course! All he needed to do now was get ahold of the guy, and what do you know, the prince had just reached out to him! Talk about luck! " Maybe the Kais are finally startin' to be nice to me!" " Nah, that'd never happen."
It didn't take too long before Yogu got a lock on the konatsian prince's energy. And even less time to get over to the desert. If Typha were to look towards the gorgeous clear blue sky, he'd see a vaguely Yogu-colored dot with a ki trail following behind it, before coming to a sudden stop with a BOOM! A moment later and that dot would come into view as, well, Yogu. Duh. He shouts down to his friend-slash-murder-victim, " YO! WHAT'S GOIN' ON TYPHA?!" He swoops down and slides on his heels across the sun-bleached stone, coming to a stop at his fellow pointy-eared ally. " You were just the guy I was lookin' to see!" He wanted to open up with the whole, 'I'm trying to change my life around and make it up to everyone whose lives I screwed up' thing, but that was maybe a little too strong of an opening. " ...So how's Earth been treatin' ya? I'm guessin' you must like the deserts compared to the cities. Reminds you of home? I'd heard Konats was all desert." Yogu looks around at the vast nothingness. He sure would've preferred hanging out in South City, maybe walk around, stop somewhere to eat while they talked, a fun night out with his konatsian brother! But, the desert was probably a more fitting place for what Yogu had in mind for their conversation. Hell, if Typha didn't like what he had to say, this might end with the prince wanting to kick his ass. But that could all wait. " So, why'd ya call me out here anyways? Had something you needed me to do? Training? Brought me out here to kill me for revenge?" Alright, he may have been joking around there, but in the back of his mind he was pretty worried about that being why Typha called him.
OOC: psst hey bro hey just teach me kaioken please bro I'm begging bro I just really need that kaioken bro I'm on my knees here bro just teach me the kaioken br

Typha could sense the Ki of Yogu as he arrived. Yogu was still as strong as ever at <200,000>. Typha smiled as he turned to face Yogu. "It is nice to see you. You're looking pretty good. Your back to being alive and I assume you been enjoying your time back. I know I have. Even though a lot of bad things have happened, it is nice that right now there is some sort of peace. Though I suppose I some senses it is a bit sad since we know that bad people are still out there waiting to strike again." Typha rubbed his head as Yogu then asked what he was doing out here. Was he going to kill him? Typha had to laugh a little bit "You think I want revenge or something?" Typha waved his hand "That is nonsense Yogu. Monster is who killed me not you. I just want to talk. I know you don't know much about Konats, but you still have her blood in your veins. I want to help any Konatsian I can. And just anyone in general and I know from our past conversation you always been someone who had their fair share of troubles." Typha smiled giving a thumbs up to Yogu. Hopefully, he could at least help out Yogu just a bit.

Typha greeted Yogu, assuming he had been enjoying his time back with the living. In the back of his mind, the once-dead boy thought of how he laid in a dump for a month after his revival. " Yep. Pretty smooth sailin' on my end!" Typha was right about one thing though, this time of peace was a welcome change. For the first time in forever, it felt like some invader from the stars wasn't out to get Earth. Or Namek. Or Vegeta. There was a distinct lack of planet destroyers-slash-invaders. " We'll be ready for those cowards that are hidin' in the shadows, Typha! As long as we don't get used to this peace, keep trainin', preparin', we'll be ready when those bastards come outta hiding!" Yogu slams a fist into his palm, adding some dramatic flair to his words. Typha laughed off what Yogu had said, about him being brought out here to be killed. He then went on to explain that he wanted to help the boy due to their shared blood. The whole time, Yogu could only think about what happened way back when on Namek. Even though Typha didn't seem to hold a grudge against Yogu, the kid felt like it was still his fault. He should've had more control. He should've stayed on earth and let Chime and the others help him. He should've been better. But he wasn't, and it cost Typha his life. Not to mention nearly costing Oboe his life too. More people that put their trust in him, only for him to let them down and hurt them. He wouldn't now, but Yogu had to take responsibility for Monster's actions, as well as his own. He needed to. He couldn't sleep at night if he didn't. Typha gave him a very supportive thumbs up. Now all he needed to do was ask for help. " Alright, Typha... I gotta plan. Ya remember when Monster attacked the lookout wayyyyyyyy back? Like, way-way-way back? How Chime used that sealing spell on him that didn't work? Well, it took a piece of him. Pretty big one too, they had to put me in some magic healing tub right after just to make sure I wouldn't die. Since then I've kept on dying, and every time I died and came back, Monster's influence and power kept getting weaker and weaker." Yogu was going to have a tough time explaining his thought process. He didn't really know anything about magic, souls, demons, the afterlife, and so on. But if he wanted Typha's help he'd need to explain. " So I've had a lotta time to think, and I'm pretty sure that Monster is like, half of me. If that makes sense. Like, just me alone isn't a full... Person? Soul? I dunno. We're two sides of the same coin I guess. Like, ever since Chime ripped that piece of monster outta me it feels like something's been MISSING. The same way as when I was a ghost, I felt I wasn't whole, that some core part of me was gone." Yogu looked down at his hands and slowly curled them into fists. " What I'm tryin' to say is that I need to recover that piece of monster that Chime took out of me and put somewhere in the lookout. To take responsibility for what the guy did, and to make myself whole again. So that I can be ready to help when the next Vocado comes knocking. But I need to prepare. I gotta make sure that there ain't a trace of the guy left when I take him back in. No way for him to take over ever again. You played a song on that little flute thing back then, and it made Monster weaker. Could ya teach me that song? And about the Konatsian demons? Can you train me, Typha?" Yogu looked back up at the prince. Hopefully, he didn't sound crazy. But he wouldn't be surprised, after everything that's happened the past few years, losing his mind seemed pretty reasonable.

Typha nodded as Yogu explained what he had been doing. He was doing well and he was ready to go once the time came to face off those villains who were in hiding. "Yes, we will be ready for them when they come. I've grown stronger from my death on Namek. I will be ready to fight and this time I won't lose." Typha grinned smiling at Yogu. Now Yogu turned to ask for his help. It had to do with Monster. How Chime had tried to seal Monster but it failed. When he died, Monster stayed with him. Deep in his soul, it was still there. He needed to find a way to deal with it, Monster was half of him. Even after turning into a ghost, it seemed the beast was still apart of him. He felt like he was missing a part of his soul and that would never heal. This was really hard to deal with Monster, Typha only knew so much about Konats's powerful demons.
Typha then looked surprised as Yogu said he wanted to recover that piece of Monster and return it to himself! Typha was unsure how he felt about that, to say that was reckless was an understatement. If Monster took over Yogu right now, he'd once again be a powerful meanece? Typha was sure he had grown quite powerful but could he overcome Yogu's power. Typha kept listening as he needed to take responsibility for what Monster did and finally focus on redeeming himself. Typha liked that mindset but he was unsure it'd work and how it would even be done. It was unprecedented to remove a Konatian Monster while being alive. From his knowledge, not even Plato, the herald of his family ever did that. Typha whipped his forehead, "Well jeez you're asking for a lot. Well, there is a lot to unpack there." Typha sat down and rubbed his head. "To say that I am worried, would be an understatement."
Typha pulled out his shattered Orcania that he had from the fight with Monster. "I gotta repair this first. I can't teach you much if you don't have an Ocarina to play. But I will get it fixed up and get one soon enough for you to use. I can teach you what I can about the songs, but I am unsure how effective it will be. It weakens them for sure but it is not strong enough to defeat them. And if what you say is true it not the monster you have to overcome." Typha leaned back thinking for a moment. "I know only a bit about the Monsters. The Kashvarr were who created them, an ancient foe of my people. They used dark magic to seal these powerful beasts into Konatsians. Their power was immense and they seemed to always be apart of the Konatsian. Once they were bound together, there was not much to be done to remove them. Regardless, I'd be happy to help you in all ways I can Yogu. Because I want you to become a great hero. Something I am not, and I know deep down you can do that but you have a lot of demons to overcome not just Monster."

Typha's words reassured him about the next time a threat would show up. No one was going to be able to do what Vocado and his crew had done. They'd be ready next time. Yogu would be ready. He had to be. He wasn't sure he could bear the guilt of screwing things up again and again like that. All that he had to do now was follow the plan. And hope Typha was receptive to what he was asking for. It was a pretty damn big gamble, what Yogu planned to do. Naturally, the Konatsian Prince had some concerns about the whole thing. Typha took a seat to process what was asked. Yogu also finds a spot to sit for a bit, " Listen, I know it's... A lot. But you gotta trust me on this one, man. I've thought this through, and I just need a little time to prep. It's like what we were saying about the next threat to earth. When the time comes to go take back Monster, I'll be ready." There was a strange confidence in his words that wasn't typically there. At the very least, Yogu had definitely convinced himself he was up to the task. The space elf presented the shattered ocarina, and Yogu's mind flashed back to that day on the lookout. Everything was blurry and vague for him then, but he remembered seeing Typha's fancy flute break. He was a little surprised it had been this long, and the prince never thought to replace or repair it. Then again, when do you run into things like Monster? Just about never. " If I have to think or say Monster again, I think I'm gonna be sick..." It really was starting to feel like he'd never escape Monster. That this period of his life would cast a shadow over the rest of it. But he couldn't think like that. That's what led him to hide. That's what led to his inaction, and that inaction is what led to what happened in Central City not too long ago. Typha continued, explaining that playing some song on a flute wouldn't be enough to conquer the beast. It would weaken, but not overcome. That was all the boy would need, " That's fine, I'm just lookin' for every advantage I could get over that fucker." Pure hatred was in Yogu's voice there. The Konats prince seemed to understand just as much as the boy. Monster was not the danger here. It was Yogu himself. What he was planning to do required both immense physical and mental strength. The fortitude required to not only keep Monster at bay but maintain full control of the demon's power would be harder than hard. He'd need to work through some shit to be ready. And even then, there'd never be any certainty that Yogu would win out in the end. He'd never know unless he just went for it. Yogu listens intently to Typha's story of the Kashvarr and the Konatsians. How Monster and many other beings like him were created to aid some long gone aliens in a conflict they lost. " So it's really that simple, huh? Some demons created by some weird dudes in the desert for a conflict that probably ended way before I was even born. Yeah, sounds like just my luck." Either way, this was great information to know. He was sure he'd find a use for it some way. The last part of Typha's speech warmed Yogu's heart, then turned to anger when the prince began to talk about hero stuff. " The hell d'you mean, 'something I'm not'... Are you jokin' Typha?!" The boy hops to his feet and points a finger in the Konatsian's face, " Last time I checked, you died defendin' Namek practically by yourself not once, but TWICE! The balls it took to take on Monster, then all the Stargoons plus Cress?! You're like, INFINITY times more of a hero than I'll ever be! So quit sellin' yourself so DAMN SHORT! You're what all of the good guys on Earth aspire to be!" Yogu had half a mind to give the guy a bop on the head right then and there but figured that'd be a bit much. Nevertheless, the boy sits back down and thinks on what Typha had to say. The prince saw something in Yogu that the boy didn't. " So uh... On that whole me bein' a hero one day thing, I don't know about all of that. Just tryin' to make it up to all the people I hurt. But you're right, the only way I can do that is if I work on my inner self. I've been talkin' to Carro and LEO about how to do that, kinda like therapy..." Well, Yogu had no idea what to talk about now. So, he just said the first thing that popped into his head.
"Hey, wanna teach me how to use a sword?"

Typha glanced as Yogu knew they needed to prep for the next battle. Sooner or later there would be a great battle, Cress was still out there, the stargoons were ready and able to fight for someone who obtained their trust and gave them what they desired. When that battle came, Yogu would be able to control Monster's power to use and defeat these foes. Typha glanced at Yogu as he really didn't want to deal with Monster ever again. Perhaps he'd find a new form after he dealt with Monster. A new form that was perhaps even more powerful? Typha could not say, but he was sure Yogu could figure out how to deal with Monster. Typha would do as much as he could to help Yogu on that quest.
As for the flute, while it was broken Typha was sure he could get it to fix, and even then he was not sure how effective it would be on Monster. Yogu was not a pure Konatsian, Typha could not say he fully understood how Monster interacted with non Konatsian hosts. Was there a difference? That was something Typha would eventually have to find out. What he could say for certain was most Konatsian monster's host summoned the beast, they didn't become it. Though Riis to his knowledge had some of the same traits as Yogu did in that regard. Still, Yogu seemed to want to get the advantage he could over Monster, for when he faced him. "Right, I'll get my Ocarina fixed and get another one for you to use. I'll teach you how to use it sometime. I can't say how much help it will be but your right. You should have every advantage you can obtain."
Typha went on about his story on the Kashvarr and Konatsian and how Yogu seemed to understand it. He seemed to get the gest of the story. "I can't say if the fight has ended. It was only two hundred years ago, that the Kashvarr lost a great deal of power. They once ruled over Konats, over my people. But, then the herald of my house, Plato destroyed them out of revenge. Since then the power of the Kashvarr has been reduced by a great deal. I sometimes wonder if they had perhaps been gone from this universe." Typha shook his head. He had not met any Kashvarr but he knew some were out there, they had to be. Typha shook his head as Yogu seemed to think he was a hero. "No, yes I've gone and died twice to protect people but I don't believe I am a hero. A lot of the reason I did this was because of regret. I have to redeem myself for my failures on Konats. A hero in my eyes is someone who fights only for others, but I don't do that. Maybe one day I'll be like that but as of now I don't believe I am." Typha sighed, maybe he was just not accepting what was the truth, but Typha felt strongly that he was no hero, not yet.
Typha nodded as Yogu noted he had made a lot of mistakes, and he needed to fix those. If he was going to become a hero as he said, Yogu had a lot to do. "Exactly the point, as you are not, your even less of a hero than me. You are probably closer to an anti-hero at best, no offense." Though it was the truth, Yogu intentionally or not had caused a lot of problems. So he needed to work on that, he needed to fix all of his problems. But it'd be a lot of work that he and Yogu would have to undertake. As Typha got ready to say something else, Yogu asked if he could teach him how to use a sword. That caught Typha off guard as he glanced at Yogu. "You want to learn how to use a sword? I'm not sure how much use that would have to you. Martial Combat and Ki control are powerful in their own right. Learning how to use a weapon can add another element but it is a lot of work. What inspired you to want to learn that?" Typha wanted to at least know why Yogu all of a sudden wanted to use a sword before he agreed to teach him.
