It was finally complete! After another exhausting eight-hour shift, Kon was once again counting down the days till she could be liberated from her job. With all the closing protocols complete and the restaurant completely locked up, she could finally enjoy her night to herself. While she would typically head to a nearby forest to once again a train, today felt unusually exhausting and as such, she had decided to take a break from her new nightly routine in favor of something else. Unfortunately unwinding with a drink still wasn't an option with her as she was still underaged, but still, surely there were other ways to relax in such a big city.

Before she picked up a training routine again, she would typically accept her co-workers' offer to go karaoke with them. Unfortunately, today's stressful shift had also gotten to them, with many deciding to retire back home for the night. She didn't feel in the mood to head back quite yet although she was equally uninterested in going to their favorite place without them. Although she could have discovered other places her budget was quickly tightening, leaving her with just one option: a casual walk in the park. It wasn't a bad decision in the slightest, giving her the time she needed to clear her mind, although she did prefer to do something a bit more exciting. Oh well, beggars couldn't be choosers.
Rubbing her hands together, she would desperately try to warm herself up on this cold night, the wind breaching her parka and chilling her to the bone. Typically she would break into a light jog in an effort to warm herself up, but she was still too exhausted from her shift to do such a thing. To hopefully keep her mind off the temperature, Kon allowed herself to get lost in her thoughts, trying to piece together what she was going to do with her future. Everything was so uncertain, yet even so, she felt liberated for the first time in what appeared to be forever. At the very least, she should have a general idea of what she wanted to do regardless of how it would turn out.
In the midst of her planning, Kon lost connection with the world, tuning everything out but her own thoughts. She was only just barely aware of the traffic lights, and would narrowly avoid the handful of others that were currently out walking during the night. It was only when she arrived at the park where there probably was no lights or people where she would decide to tune the world out completely, focusing solely on what was on her mind.
