NAME: Frimas (French word that means wintry weather)
ALIASES: Warmatron, Lady
SPECIES: Arcosian
AGE: 206 years old
GENDER: Prefers feminine pronouns.
STARTING PLANET: Earth
APPEARANCE: Small Arcosian of slender build sitting in a hover pod. Only seen in her suppressed form. Her body is of a silverish white color with a dark turquoise biogem sitting on her head. From the pod her tail can be seen at times, with a similar white color and a jagged tip, with yet another dark turquoise biogem forming the pointy end of it. Two small horns pointing upwards are present on each side of her head, with around a dozen tentacle-like appendages starting from the back of her head and going down her back, save for one resting on each shoulder.
BACKGROUND: The World Trade Federation Initiative as it was called, was a plan meant to salvage several planets and sell them to whoever had the deepest pockets in the galaxy. An immediate solution to overpopulation or mismanagement of a world’s resources. While it was at the cost of more primitive lives, sentient races across the cosmos could foresee a future among other stars should their situation call for it. It was a foolproof plan with no real losers. While this trade led by Arcosians and their allies would wipe the state clean on remote, habitable worlds, planetary leaders only had to empty their wealth to purchase a new fresh environment for their people to prosper for some other millennia or so. And to those who would claim that mass genocide of lower species is inhumane by definition…Hah. Come on. Let’s be real for a second. They probably lacked the self-awareness required to understand what was happening to them before it was over. Truly, it was a win-win situation for everyone involved.
Of course, with heavier wallets came demands. From specific biomes to set temperatures year-round, anything was possible. It sometimes called for…less than savory measures to meet demands in a proper timeframe, as checking all the boxes oftentimes meant getting rid of other civilizations. To that, the daughter of Lord Zard, first of his name, would reply that there are no friends in business and, how cruel would it be to deny an entire species the right to live? A second chance to build their empires. As with everything, sometimes harsh decisions had to be made. But of course, proper cleaning teams ensured that no visible trace of conflict would remain.
As the Northern Quadrant garnered most of the Fleet’s attention, other teams were sent out across space to conquer worlds and scout for potential planets. These teams were but a fraction of the Fleet’s armada, but for what they lacked in number, they made up in skills and individual power.
Lady Frimas was responsible of such a group. The only child of Lord Zard, she boasted impressive power at a young age, as well as an attitude to match. She never really found much use in this strength of hers, preferring words over violence, as it was perceived to be the ways of the uncivilized mass. What she did enjoy, however, was the trade that made their race popular. Planetary trade was, in her eyes, the ultimate business as well as a market only few could dare enter. Though a youth of a few hundred years old, it wouldn’t be long before she set out to join the fleet, seeking beauty in unusual or especially pleasing worlds, treating them as work of art to trade to those with a keen eye and similar interests.
The Frozen Sun’s Offensive, as her unit was called, had always been especially skillful at finding the most beautiful inhabitable planets across the galaxy. Their recent campaign had brought them to the far reaches of the Western Quadrant. It was there that the message came.
Infighting and poor management had made the Fleet collapse. The idiot Boreal had died fighting his own contracted mercenaries while rumors of Lord Chill being killed at his own crowning ceremony were softly whispered among the Frozen Sun’s crew. While she did not harbor any specific feelings towards them, save for a newfound disgust at their lack of professionalism, she would have to investigate herself. However, their campaign would come first.
To preserve herself from going too sour at the state of the Fleet, she opted for a cryogenic sleep until they would finally arrive back to the Northern Quadrant. Then, after being briefed about developments, she would begin her investigation.
Now, years later, she awakens from her slumber, her weakened body steadily recovering from her sleep in this brand new world, one where the idea of the World Trade Fleet is only met with ridicule and skepticism.
TECHNIQUES:
OFFENSIVE/DEFENSIVE TECHNIQUES:
[A1] Draw Warmth Frimas forms a sphere of Ki in her hand and stretches her arm towards her opponent. Through a mixture of telekinesis and advanced ki manipulation, she begins to draw the heat from her target at a fast pace, freezing them to their core. Once the sphere of energy has absorbed its maximum amount of heat, she sends the burning hot ki ball back to her target, causing a violent thermic shock and damage. Deals 33% of her PL in damage. (The removing heat part is for flavor mostly and not meant to hinder player action. They are free to ignore it or feel it as they wish).
SUPPORT TECHNIQUES:
UTILITY TECHNIQUES:
[UT] Cold Ki: Her natural ki creates an endothermic reaction, gathering the heat around her as she charges her techniques, freezing the land around and weaker life forms. Her techniques usually start with a deep blue color and as it gathers heat proceeds to turn bright orange, similar to the color of the sun.
[UT] Telekinesis: Using her innate psychic powers, Frimas is able to move objects at will, with larger objects taking more concentration and power to move.
