Zhalla's PL: 100,000
The trip to Beppa had been quite the interesting one, it had been some time since the ginger saiyan had even left Earth let alone for anything outside of work deals. But there was much to attend to back at home so eventually she would of course have to return, and return she did! Receiving the warmest of welcomes once she had made her way back to the shelter, making sure to individually check on all the children and how they all went while she was away before looking into her own personal matters now that she was home and settled back down. One thing in particular she had had on her mind while on Beppa was her pay when working under Dion... It was nice she got the extra money from the second job-- However she had noticed she was still receiving payments from the other saiyan even when she was on another planet and unable to work. This itself she could have brushed off as just that he had simply forgotten she was away those days but there were other things that bugged her and suggested otherwise. Prior to even leaving for Beppa, Zhalla had noticed that her pay count seemed to steadily be rising in number even though she hadn't been taking any extra shifts or doing anything extra to earn that increase in pay and this only seemed to continue to increase while she was away. To add to all of this he had also insisted on getting her a custom tailored suit for work which he paid out of his own pocket on despite her protest on such a thing. Frowning lightly as she triple checked her earnings again to make sure she was seeing the numbers right the saiyan would grumble lightly. He had not listened when she told him not to pity pay her, clearly. Now this was all incredibly generous of Dion to give, most would be grateful if not a bit confused about the steady pay rise for no particular reasoning, but Zhalla was a bit too stubborn and prideful to be that way about it. One thing she could not stand was being pitied and receiving help for nothing in return and it felt like both were going on here. Huffing angrily out her nose Zhalla would grab her old saiyan armour outfit, hastily putting it on as she left a message for Dion to come meet her outside their place of work. --- As always Zhalla drove her motorbike to Dion's bar, though today the engine roared and rumbled more then it usually would-- A testament to how she was feeling at the moment it would seem. Though as per her usual would park it right out front in the spot she always took. With the bike now parked she would tear the keys out and stuff them in her pocket before shoving her helmet into the compartment at the back of the bike to store it away for later, giving the lid a harder slam than she normally would which would leave a dent that she was too angry to notice in the moment. With the bike now all locked up all she had to do was wait for Dion to arrive. And when he did her look alone would show just how much trouble he was about to be in.

PL: 203,000 And while if confronted, he'd deny having any relation to such anomalies, yes, it was most definitely Dion's doing that Zhalla was getting some extra perks due to her employment to the Diono's chain. Although, to be perfectly fair, all of Dion's employees (if they have displayed actually being deserving such perks) got to have the same benefits as well, though he'd be lying if he didn't provide a marginally larger buffer to Zhalla's paycheck and own working attire than his other employees. He was just Saiyan, he couldn't resist playing favorites a little bit! She was a real good worker! Plus, she has kids to feed and bills to pay for the roof over their heads, and Dion couldn't resist meddling even the slightest bit to try and help them out in any way he could. Though he was smart enough to realize Zhalla wasn't the kind of person to accept such charity upfront. So, being the cunning bartender he was, inflating her salary as well as providing her with top of the line employee attire was his way of doing so without arousing suspicion. It worked much better than he expected it to when he first went about it!
However, somewhere amidst his travels across the stars, Dion got sloppy- and not only continued to give Zhalla an artificially inflated salary, but also did so during Zhalla's own travels across the cosmos. What a rookie move, one that he didn't even realize would affect him until he landed back on Earth and decided to take a peek into his economic situation company wise. He had been quite happy with its growth until he saw within the workforce costs he had failed to at least slow down the rate at which Zhalla got her paycheck while she was off planet.
The downfalls to using automated employee payouts, he supposed. Damn technology screwing over his ability to be nice.
Dion knew he was most likely caught red handed- Zhalla was a bright young woman, there was no way (unless Nero really caught her attention that closely) she didn't realize her pockets being filled even while away from work. He hoped she wouldn't be too annoyed about it. After all, he was just trying to help! Though, the words she had spoken of that pertained to not pitying her that one night after hours long ago did echo through his mind as he made his way to work that morning. The wind feeling oddly rougher against his face that day as he made his way to his North City Diono's location to try and welcome Zhalla back from her own spatial travels. He could feel her energy as he arrived on the scene, a warm grin on his face as he saw her right out front-
Only for the smile to melt away like a child's ice cream on a blisteringly hot day and be replaced with a much more guilty expression on his face. Taking a deep breath, he lowered himself onto the ground. Walking toward Zhalla, he stopped just a few feet in front of her, looking down at the ground before looking up into her harsh gaze with a surprisingly defiant look on his face as he spoke.
"Look, I already know what you're gonna be biting at my coattails for, but you know how I am Zhalla. You know I wouldn't take pity on someone who says they don't wish for such a thing, I value individual strength, but if there's any way that I can help someone that I care about, you also know that I'm more than willing to meddle even the slightest bit to lend a hand. I get it, you're probably pissed- but I really was only trying to help! I knew you would have refused any help upfront, this was the only was I could do so without your instant refusal."
With a resigned sigh, the bartender finished by stating, "And, quite honestly, I've got more than I could ever need, so buffing your paycheck really isn't that much of a dampener on me either. You're a fantastic worker either way! You deserve this increase in pay anyways. I just, want to be able to help, Zhalla."

Zhalla would not even look at Dion after the initial glare once he arrived, she knew he was there and would listen as he gave his spiel-- Which was already on the matter of the money issue, so he clearly knew why he'd been called here it would seem. This somehow pissed her off that little bit more as he clearly had known this was something she asked him not to do but still did it anyways against her word. Crossing her arms and huffing lightly to let him know she was listening but letting him finish first though she was clearly unimpressed by what he had to say and that much was certain even without her looking at him, her entire posture made it pretty clear that nothing he had to say would change her mind on the matter.
When Dion finished speaking his part the ginger saiyan would take a moment before finally looking back to him beyond just a quick glare. Dion's look of defiance did not help his case here whatsoever and Zhalla would offer back a sneer. "I was going to start with telling you how the trip with Nero went first actually, but since you're so eager--" Was it a bit mean to hold something she knew her friend wanted to hear about out of his reach like that? To most probably yeah but right now Zhalla cared little on if she was being mean.
"You're right I do know how you are, but YOU should know how I am too Dion." Clenching her fists as a surge of frustration flowed through her making the pseudo dragonball on her outfit start to to dimly glow in reaction to her ki, "I thought I had made myself clear that night when you first offered this job to me. I'm grateful truly-- For the job and I'll continue to work hard on it but I don't want your pity pennies, I don't need your pity. I am NOT someone for you to throw money at so YOU feel better about yourself" The angered saiyan was practically hissing every word in hate but underneath all of it she sounded rather hurt as well. "I trusted you as my friend Dion, to listen to me when I told you to not to and you went out of your way to go against the one thing I asked you not to do"
Shoving her hands into her hair and running them through it in an attempt to relieve some of the anger as energy was starting to crackle between her fingers. "I don't need your help. I don't WANT your help. I can take care of things myself, I'm more then capable-- Keep your wealthy nose out of my personal business" With a look of both disappointment and frustration on her face she would turn her back on Dion and head back to her bike. "You're just like all the others and I was wrong to trust you as a friend" Pulling her keys from her pocket and swirling them around her index finger she would add; "If you keep up pity paying me, I will quit. Or you can fire me now, your choice Boss"

Dion remained cool and composed as the angered, ginger haired young Saiyan woman in front of him dove right into her sneer-aided near venomous tirade, the bartender remaining unmoved even as Zhalla's power signature began to simmer under the growth of her anger. Staying perfectly still and focused even as the very ground beneath their feet began to shake under the pressuring circumstances and Zhalla's continued power exertion. Smoke and mirrors, he supposed, to try and intimidate Dion into a spinelessly made apology. Too bad, was all he thought. She should know better. He's been through much worse than a friend's judgmental glare.
His body did betray his true emotions riding just underneath the surface though, whether it be through a subtle yet consistently kept twitching of one of his eyes, or through the rough inhale and exhale of his breath, Dion did feel, dare he say, disrespected as Zhalla continued going deeper into her rant. Pity pennies are what his kindness was being accumulated to now? Perhaps he did do it out of worry, or concern for her and her family's wellbeing, but to amount it to nothing more than undermining pity and potentially an attempt to pat himself on the back? Barring the true anxiety that came with people labelling him as a hero, and the standard that he needed to uphold despite not wanting said title, Dion was convinced his friends truly knew he never did anything to buff up his own ego. He only did, and meddled, when he believed there needed to be meddling done.
And Zhalla's apparent misinterpretation of his actions were what truly irritated him above all else. His eyes nearly widened in weakness to her emotional poking and prodding, but the young man forced his gaze to only narrow further. Again, showing weakness or yielding in this situation wouldn't fix the underlying problem at hand her- Zhalla's continued refusal to accept help through any means. The cause of it not incredibly important, whether it be from pride or past trauma, that wasn't overly important to Dion. What was important to him though was the fact that this meant she took all burdens upon her back. He already saw what this unhealthy philosophy did to Carro, and wasn't about to let it consume another friend of his. Kami forbid something happen in the future to Zhalla herself or her kids, and she refused any offering of help- Dion had a chance to nip this problem in the bud here and now. And take it he was.
With a heavy sigh, Dion's exhalation was almost immediately followed by a Super Saiyan transformation, his hair writhing slowly yet noticeably in the wind with slight golden highlights appearing here and there for just a few moments. But he remained composed, looking into Zhalla's face, chin tilted upward as he replied, "I admire your pride, Zhalla, and your determination to make it through life out of your own conviction- but I've already seen what your mentality can do to a person. If I don't intervene here and now, it'll only hurt you further along in the future."
"While I don't know myself why you won't accept any one else's charity, nor do I think you're in the mood to tell me at the moment, it doesn't change the fact that if you aren't to grow from this mentality then you'll only end up hurting yourself and the others you care about in the future. So."
Knowing that this conflict may not end through verbal means like he wanted it to, Dion planted his feet, readjusted his shirt sleeves, and asked with a tone of finality, "Seeing as someone's riled up, and isn't in the mood to be persuaded through means of silver tongue- how about we express ourselves the old fashioned way, huh?"
While beating her into submission was the last thing Dion wanted to do to a dear friend, Dion also knew that Zhalla wouldn't be able to see the err of her ways without a reality check. And perhaps a fight between the two would be able to help highlight such inevitabilities. If she gets beaten in a fight one day, against an opponent she can't win against, what if she doesn't ask for help then? Would she rather die than ask for assistance that she is all too able to get? That, would be the worst case scenario.
And the scenario Dion was looking to preemptively prevent. Through any means necessary.

The subtle reactions like the eye twitching and widening told Zhalla that she had either struck some kind of chord or something she had said resonated with Dion. Good, that was partly the aim after all. Though-- That being said she wasn't expecting the start of a transformation to occur so now it was her turn to widen her own eyes. She had never seen Super-- or at least the start of a transformation of it and quite frankly had doubted it was even a real thing half the time much like she had thought with Oozaru. Looks like she had been proven wrong on both now as Nero had taught her about Oozaru and Dion was proving Super was thing right here. Zhalla would narrow her eyes back at Dion catching her keys mid-swirl and clutching them tightly. "Oh yeah? What do you know about it, Dion."
Now seemingly rather intrigued and not one to ignore a challenge, she had turned back to face her friend and would re-pocket her keys for the moment, his chin tilt earning another sneer from the ginger saiyan as she took it as him trying to look down on her. "Is that what you call that? Determination? Some choice thing I choose to be because I can afford to? I suppose you would see it that way wouldn't you." She would scoff lightly, "It'll hurt me huh? It's been the only thing that's gotten me through thick and thin throughout life, what the hell would YOU know" Huffing angrily out her nose again, the cold of the North making her breath appear like little puffs of cloud.
"Because I don't NEED it Dion! Don't patronize me! I'm more then capable and I always have been. I've always been there for myself and I don't need anything more then that, it's gotten me through everything in life so far and that's not about to change! You can't change something you couldn't even begin to understand." Shaking her head at him as she rolled her eyes the saiyan would place her hands on her hips, flicking her tail irritably. "You wanna know why I know you're wrong? Don't write me off just yet I'm not beyond the point of explaining why you're boneheaded just yet."
"Hmm. Lets seeeeee, we can just skip past the whole 'parents didn't love me' sob story who wants to hear that, right? Doesn't matter. Oh, oh, and the part about how no one on planet Earth even wanted to consider adopting me when I needed it the most, and I now run the shelter I grew up in buuuuut you already knew that part didn't you." Zhalla clamped her hands together in the same way one would do when closing a book. "No need for any of that, you've already heard it! Or, they're just not important here- But what is, is two things amongst aaaaall of that that." Zhalla aggressively held up two fingers, putting them down as she got to each part of what she had to say, "One, is that throughout all things the one constant I had was that I'd always find a way by myself to get through everything. The second is that every time I've gotten close enough to someone to allow them to help me they've... They-" For a brief few moments her composition cracked, rippling with a look of grief that seemed like something she had been holding in for years. She clenched her fists, taking in a harsh breath and hardening her look once more to hide behind her stubborn façade. She'd then continue-- Her ki crackling, bubbling and sparkling about her all of a sudden in bursts like a stomping bull. "They're taken away from me... and they never come back. I don't want that to happen to you or to Nero, or to anyone else I care about, so do us both a massive favour, and just stay exactly at the arm's length you're already at..."
The other saiyan taking a readying stance the way he did made her eyes flare with a burning anger. The way he got ready for an inevitable fight seemed to set her off the same way waving a red rag did to an irritable bull. Gritting her teeth as the fake dragonball on her chest's light was practically pulsating in response to her anger now.
So he wanted a fight huh? Well he was going the right way for one. Zhalla wasn't one who liked the idea of punching people she considered friends... But she was beyond furious at this point feeling like he was belittling her efforts and strength as an individual. "A fight huh? How about you fight me properly then, without the stupid yellow hair-- Or are you too much of a coward for that Dion? Do ya need your shiny banana hair to face me?" Smirking with confidence taller then even she could reach as ki formed in the palms of her hands forming the shape of her signature twin axes and gripping them tightly by the handles. "But hey, look at you! Going to aaaaaallllll this trouble for lil old me? Putting up an awful lot of effort trying to change my mind on it huh, why? Why do you give shit? What do you have to gain?"

Trying to focus his gaze, and perhaps a bit of his contained anger, on anything other than the Saiyan immediately in front of him at this very moment, Dion chose to eye down the keys within her tightened grasp as she seemed to voice her curiosity in exactly how much he could sympathize with her current situation. While the obvious idea of Carro came to mind, Zhalla's situation also heavily reminded him of many other individuals he had come to care about, people like Aurora and even a bit of Russe panging a familiar feeling within as they entered his thoughts for a moment. So, after a few moments followed Zhalla asking Dion how he would ever know any bit of her circumstance, he'd reply in earnest, though not with very much, as he didn't wish to trail too far off of the figurative main path they were too far down to turn away from as he stated simply, "I know more than you could possibly realize. So I'll forgive your insubordination at the moment. But exactly what I've come to know are stories best saved for another time, when you're willing to listen."
His eye twitched more vigorously as Zhalla accused him of patronizing her with his extra payments, having to restrain himself from giving away any sign of frustration in order to keep some semblance of an emotional high ground as he continued to calmly piece away at her argument, stating as he closed his eyes in contemplation (when really it was out of frustration also), "Your continued pride being displayed through you continuously believing I would meddle in something I know nothing about is incredibly surprising. That same pride will get you and the ones you care about hurt one day." His eyes did reopen once Zhalla did finally decide to shed a bit of light on her past trauma that would have allowed this sort of behavior to begin to fester and grow, but while on the inside he wanted nothing but to give his friend a big hug and some words of comfort, he knew the ginger haired girl was far too emotionally gone to want to hash things out with a friendly conversation now. So, instead, his face remained deadpan, his eyes staring seemingly straight into her, unblinking. As she finished off her tangent, Dion continued his own counter immediately after, stating in a matter-of-fact tone, "You're allowing your past to hold too much influence in your present decisions. Just because things may have been rough for you back then does not mean you need not adapt and transform from your old, and perhaps outdated, means of living. Why force yourself to take upon all the burden when you can easily simply reach out to someone for help? An action that doesn't negatively impact you at all, that in fact, only could benefit you in the long run?"
"I understand that beneath that hardened expression you mean well in trying to avoid acceptance of outside help, but it is a flawed means of living- especially when you have people like me and Nero ready at your beck and call. We know the risk we undertake in helping anyone in any situation, large or small. We know what could happen. But if it means we're able to help someone in the end we do it. Because at the end of the day if we can help someone that we care about out even in the slightest of ways we will do it at whatever cost, because it makes someone's life we care about better."
Dion then began to close the distance between the two, stopping just before Zhalla so that there was a few inches between the two- with Dion's steely glare now staring upward into the taller woman's face. The height deficit may be present here, but the way that the normally more passive bartender carried himself made his presence feel much greater than it actually was.
"Calling me a coward when you know exactly what I have been through isn't just ignorant, it's downright stupid-" Dion spat as his eyes turned a turquoise blue, his hair writhing violently through the now created winds from his exhalation of power, before calming down once again into it's normal sleek black look. He may have mastered the Super Saiyan form within his absence, but that didn't mean he didn't lose its control here and there.
"It's not about what I have to gain Zhalla. It's what you, and I, potentially are at risk of losing. One day your refusal to accept help will be an endangerment to yourself and others, and I refuse to not nip this problem at the bud while I still can."
Looking down at the weapons held within her white knuckled grip, and then back up into her gaze, Dion frowned, muttering in a venomously low tone, "So, do you have a place in mind? Or do I have to provide for you yet again?"

Zhalla scoffed rolling her eyes at Dion's response as she highly doubted he truly knew as much as he claimed on the matter, knowing of others experiences was much different to having had experienced those things yourself. " Yeah right, sure you do Dion." Her tone practically dripped of sarcasm, it was clear she did not believe him on the matter but also proved to him she wasn't fully willing to listen either in the moment. She had made up her mind on that the other Saiyan simply could not understand her circumstance. " Believing you would meddle? You DID meddle in it Dion." Snorting lightly in frustration she would practically stick her nose up at her friend in an attempt to further look down on him. " That same pride hasn't failed me so far, that same pride has been the only thing that's kept me and the kids safe. You know nothing" " That's what the past is for isn't it? You learn from it, you learn what works best for you and what doesn't so that your present is easier and the same mistakes aren't repeated. I've seen what reaching out for help from others does for me. I've learnt from it." Her gaze trailed off for a few moments before snapping back to attention, her eyes flaring at Dion's words. " Because taking on all the burden has been the only thing that's kept the people I give a shit about-- People like YOU, Dion-- Alive. How is the risk of losing you as my friend or Nero for that matter not something that'd negatively impact me? How does the risk of that benefit me at all!?" " You misunderstand Dion, I know you two would step in to help at the drop of a hat no matter the consequences and that's PART of the problem. I don't want either of you in harms way, stupid." Zhalla would grit her teeth as she brushed the cuff of her glove against the side of her face clearly struggling to fight back tears she didn't want to come right now. Dion was clearly striking some sort of chord here. " Y'know when I came to you for help on my feelings for Nero way back when? I didn't just want to forget the feelings first and foremost because I'm terrible at romance-- Yeah sure that was part of it I'll admit that but. It wasn't the only reason, I was also concerned for him like I am for you now. But egh-- What's all that matter right now neither of you will listen if I told you to stay at arms length now would you?" To Zhalla she would also be making their lives better in keeping that 'safe' distance, truthfully to her they were trying to achieve the same thing they just had drastically different views on how to go about it. " Save that level of care for Aurora, Dion. I'm not worth the time, effort or risk, truly" As Dion began to close the gap between the two saiyans Zhalla would keep her ground, he carried himself which something much greater then just mere confidence, but she couldn't quite word exactly what. " Is it? I'm calling you a coward for turning to use that power when facing me as if YOU of all people need it to do such a thing." Raising a hand to lightly but irritably flick the smaller Saiyans nose Zhalla would frown, " It's the fact that I know what you've been through and know you don't need it to fight me, that makes me think you're a coward for even thinking about needing to use it here Dion, you're plenty strong enough without it aren't you pipsqueak? Prove it." " Well then it looks like we don't have a choice here since neither of us is going to back down now are we?" Gripping the handles of her weaponry and huffing lightly, despite the talk she was still as mad as ever and this showed through her rather wildly crackling ki that whipped about her irritably. " We'll see about that, Dion." " Y'know I really don't want to have to hurt you in any way truly but-- Okay that's a lie but still, if it'll maybe get you to see things my way then I guess I have no other choice" Of course the only one here really not providing another choice in this situation was herself but try telling that to her! " There's no place like the present Dion" It would seem if Dion wanted a different location to fight at he would have to bring them both to it himself as Zhalla wasn't going anywhere. Channelling her ki through the palms of her hands and into the handles of her ki summoned axes she'd forge a sizeable chain at the bottom of each handle, the chain eventually connecting up so that the two weapons were linked together but with enough length between them given by the chain that she could move them about more freely. Which is exactly what she did as she gripped instead onto the chain linking them and began to swing the hefty weapons around herself in a circular motion, the blades clashing and scraping against the pavement between the two as they swung. Her axes now practically buzzing after getting some speed to her swings, she'd suddenly change motion by gripping one end of the chain tighter before hurling the axe on that end straight at Dion in a move that had some bite behind it but clearly not all of what she had to offer just yet. Perhaps she wasn't lying when she had said she didn't actually want to hurt him and this served more of a warning to her friend that she really wasn't about to back down on this.

It took whatever patience Dion had left to hold back the rushing cascade of words stirring inside of himself that ached to disprove Zhalla's notion of his own ignorance completely unfounded, and it took even greater restraint to not double back on the path that they were so clearly headed upon and instead insist on using words and reason to try and settle this dispute. There was no way, with how Zhalla was looking, that he would be able to utilize any level of Talk-No-Jutsu to try and justify his actions. And, besides, if he were to try and back out now, he was sure that she would never let him hear the end of it, and would most likely continue her self destructive ways anyways. So, as true Saiyans always seemed prone to do no matter the circumstance, it would seem that they had a fight on their hands.
The ginger haired girl's continued bluster mostly went in one ear and out the bartender's other- seeing as it was just her continually reinstating what she believed to be her life's only truth and only means of making ends meet. If he were to listen too closely, he'd become dangerously close to wanting to prove her wrong verbally as well, so it was seemingly best that he let her words roll off of him like rain. It hurt him to have to ignore her valid and understandable points, especially as she seemingly believed herself not to be worth the care and treatment of people like Aurora. How he yearned to tell her just how wrong she really was, and how everyone was deserving of that same love and care. But, if he were to dive too deep into them they'd never get past this speaking stalemate.
Feelings weren't going to pierce the clouding haze that was Zhalla's extensive and intensive anger.
Unyielding in his stance, Dion's head tilted as Zhalla began to now hurl insults at the bartender, and with that he now knew he had struck another nerve besides that of the many he had already incited- with his expression staying a deadly neutral as he said in an inquisitive yet at the same time chaffing tone, "Resorting to playground vernacular now, Zhalla? I thought you were more mature than that. Then again, your reaction thus far hasn't exactly led me to the conclusion that you're anywhere near levelheaded, so I suppose I shouldn't have expected anything less."
While somewhat hurt, Zhalla's snide remark at his usage of his Super Saiyan strength didn't hurt him as much as her other tirades. He could feel the marginal power deficit between the two, even if Zhalla couldn't, and was well aware of the work he had placed himself under to get to where he was, so no insecurity was spited at her words. However, the ultimatum did provide him with the slight inconvenience that he wouldn't be able to utilize any of his transformations to properly pound away at the flawed philosophy that now gripped Zhalla tightly in its grasp. Although, then again, perhaps it would help further his own case. 'If you can't even beat one who purposefully handicaps themselves, how do you expect to fare against those who won't?' was the mindset there.
Seeing this, the young man decided to comply with Zhalla's demands, raising up his hands in mock defeat as he said in a resigned tone, "Transformations are meant to supplement, not to carry a fighter through their battles. So, I'll play your little game by your rules- I don't need a hair color change to prove my point as it is."
About to utter another quip at Zhalla's insinuation that she would be able to harm the bartender in a substantial way, Dion's eyes widened and mouth instantly shut as he realized that the former mercenary was not looking to make a scenery change- somehow okay with putting not only property but also potential pedestrians at risk for the duration of their oncoming battle. Gritting his teeth at her impulsiveness, the boyish battler now immediately put some distance between the two as Zhalla began to charge up her first attack. Carefully shifting into a defensive posture, his eyes watched as her axes began to churn in response to the channeling of Ki now surging within them.
However, while Zhalla moved fast, Dion still perceived, and moved faster than she could, and just as she threw the now blisteringly quick propeller like axe-end straight at the bartender, he promptly took a standing stance, brandishing his hand in the form of a finger-gun position.
"Bang."
And with a single word uttered, a forceful yet precise beam of Ki shot outward from his fingers, Dion's Daiquiri Deadshot now blasting straight into Zhalla's spinning axe attack- completely halting it's rotating motion and continuing to blast straight through said axe and toward the opposing femme fatale. Thankfully, Dion's aim had been lowered so that if it were to make contact it would cut right through her dominant shoulder, the one that was helping to brandish the other axe handle within her grip.
Using, hopefully, the lapse of concentration this would cause due to the sudden pain and pitiless offensive action from Dion, the crossed combatant now blasted forward at impossibly fast speeds, right hand moving far behind him before looping back infront to try and slam a right hook straight into Zhalla's face. Oddly enough, this shot was only meant to stagger the Saiyan momentarily so that he could lower himself to the ground and attempt to kick upward into her chin- as Dion tried to slam her skyward and get her away from the immediate vicinity of the city public.
If successful, he'd follow after her straight away, being nothing but a white blur burning across the blue sky as he trailed wherever the previous blow had sent Zhalla, awaiting her next (most likely quite angry) next move.
Daiquiri Deadshot [VA2, Piercing] used to overpower [A1] Bullrush. 66,990 - 33,000 = 33,990 potential damage total sent back at Zhalla. KP 1/3, own damage level; 0%. Thread is now officially a closed DE!

While Dion's logic behind using Super Saiyan was sound, Zhalla was incredibly confident in her skills, and was not convinced that this was a fight she had a chance of losing. True to her stubbornness; the Saiyan had purposefully never invested in any way to sense or read the power of her opponents as she saw it only as a distraction-- Something to throw her off a fight before it'd even started. In hindsight, this was a rather childish approach to battle-- it was similar to 'if I can't see it, it's not there', little did she know this way of thinking had gotten her way in over her head. She was seemingly rather happy to hear that Dion was not going to use that transformation of his during this fight, though not because he was playing by her rules and more-so because she would have the chance to fight him one on one on what she considered a fair base level. " We'll see about that one" Perhaps it was ignorance and anger that blinded her to caring about where she had started this fight, or maybe it had something to do with the fact that most her mercenary missions also didn't often have scenery changes just for battles, but either way she wasn't changing location willingly or of her own accord. The Saiyan had a few moments of confusion as Dion didn't try to move out of the way of her oncoming attack or even block it-- Actually it seemed he was going to fight back against it? Zhalla rolled her eyes and smirked confidently, believing there'd be no way he could block her attack with another attack but oh how wrong she was about to be proven to be... As Dion's Ki beam sliced right through her thrown axe causing it to practically 'pop' in its tracks while the other Saiyan's attack continued on soaring through-- He'd not just stopped her attack his attack had continued on through it! The split seconds she had before his beam would land were spent in shock, she could hardly even believe what she just saw, much less process it quickly enough. " Oh-" Was the only thing she managed to utter before the piercing hot pain that shot through her shoulder took over, replacing the rest of whatever she had to say with a growl of pain. Clutching at her shoulder moments after with her other axe still in hand she made the mistake of taking her focus off of her opponent in the few moments she attempted to take to assess her shoulder, hardly fitting in a glance before Dion was upon her already-- Another slam, no make that two. By the time she realized what exactly had happened he'd already kicked her way up into the air. The Saiyan sputtered and hacked out a few course coughs before defiantly spitting out a wad of blood. Swallowing the warm sensation that was now crawling up the back of her throat, she assumed nothing much of it and soon tried to regain her footing in this fight while still mid-air-- and therein lied a glaring issue... Zhalla was never great at flying, and she was very much still out of practice with the skill, and that meant it wouldn't take Dion long to work that out if he wasn't already aware of that fact. Scrambling in the air to get herself at least upright Zhalla would bring back her destroyed axe by focusing her ki to recreate it, but this time she wasn't aiming at Dion at all-- She was trying to search for buildings near enough and tall enough to latch onto with her chained axes to stop her fall. This would prove to be even more difficult then she initially thought however, as Dion did not let up in the least, and he was already on his way after her in the air and he definitely could fly, very well at that! Zhalla was still both surprised by and honestly quite annoyed that Dion's earlier move had obliterated her own attack. Doing her best and trying to ignore the seething pain in her shoulder his attack had caused, Zhalla tried her best to make sense of this-- When had Dion become this strong? Had he been hiding it all along? Was he really this much stronger then she was? ... No, surely not! The thought alone did nothing but infuriate her more! Shooting back a wildly fierce look to the other Saiyan to try and ward him off, Zhalla ultimately figured there was no way she could throw an adequate attack at him and try to stop herself from falling at the same time so one of these options had to be her focus. For now any further attacks would have to wait until her feet were back on solid footing. Giving a powerful whirl of an axe with her uninjured arm in a similar fashion to her attack on Dion beforehand Zhalla would swiftly release it once it was spinning fast enough, propelling it towards the nearest phone tower. Thankfully the axe snagged part of the structure, more than enough to get the pull she was after... Though it also began to creak under the pressure and weight of a fully fledged Saiyan warrior pulling ki chains around the structure. Still as stubborn as she was when this all started she'd poke her tongue out back at the other Saiyan before calling back to him mockingly, " Is that all you got, Malort?"
