Dion
It had been months since his arrival to Planet Earth. He had gotten accustom to the various species living among the planet. However his curious interest was that of a famous bar owner by the name of Dion, he was so famous that he had several bars in different cities of Planet Earth. Surge had found his way to the modern look of the bars on this planet. He entered the bar with another soldier who appeared to be more timid than ever before. Unlike Surge, this soldier was fairly new to the planet and wasn't use to the customs that Surge had already gotten use to. Surge being in charge of the operation, would slowly but surely send in a few soldiers every now and then to the Planet Earth in order to search the massive planet and gather intel, while Surge's main objective was to gather strong soldiers to join him. Now while the two of them sat across from one another and sitting on a tall steel stool, the waitress had walked in and provided them a menu. After looking over it for a few minutes, Surge had placed his hand to his chin and smirked a bit.
"Ah, I see this place has all of the liquor that other Planets seem to have, probably more by the looks of it. I will take the strongest Vodka that you have."
The waitress had written it down, and she shifted her eyes to the square glasses red brenchian soldier who was skinny in size and looked more tech savy than his brute counterpart.
"Hi yes, I will take the Kraken Rum?"
"Excellent choice, I will be back with your orders in a minute."
A few minutes had passed and their drinks had been served. After casually drinking a few sips here and there and just idling by, Surge had pulled out a picture book and looking over it. As the evening was turning into the night, the restaurant had appeared to be slowly dying down to the point where there was only a few patrons left. The local drunk, a couple who was in a booth in the corner, and them two. The employees were idly by just doing their jobs and Surge looking over to his partner as he was already done with his rum.
"Seems like you done with that one huh, order a second one. Its on me."
"Thank you sir."
The waitress had came back as Surge casually lifted his hand up.
"Ah yes excuse me, my friend here would like another of that rum. I also would like a check please just one. I will be paying for it."
The waitress left and came back, Surge pulling out his wad of cash and giving her a tip that is 30% more than the average tip. As she was gracious and thanked the military looking man, she walked away with joy. The red brenchian looked to Surge and smiled.
"Sir I am so happy that you have brought me here for the mission. It would be my first ever serving and I was surprised you actually brought a rookie like myself."
"Let me tell you something Specks, when I had looked over your file. I saw a smart man who knew how to do a job and operate it effectively. When I was around your age, I served just like my parents and the army. I wanted to make sure what we are doing is helping those who need it the most."
What Specks the rookie didn't know, was that common soldiers like him wouldn't grasp the bigger picture that was truly happening. Only the vets knew, a select few who made it the business to not only serve the Galactic Storm Fleet but to serve there trusted leader Surge.
