WilkesAin't much could be said about the rundown organized crime underworld. Filled with criminals both local and galactic, all those who served a purpose in wanting to make their name big into any organized family or just wanting to do jobs would come here. Surge was a concealed individual when it came to these parts of the galaxy and he found his way to this bar. The bar itself was covered in filth, anyone who was a bug would find this place a luxury and paradise. Surge could barely breath while he was in this place, but nevertheless, he found his way to to hold his stomach together and make his way to the round table that was just ahead of him. This bar/casino was big, so big that no one would suspect that organize crime was running it and that they had undercover mafia members roaming its crowds and idling by and waiting for trouble to step in. Surge wasn't given a second glance or two, or perhaps he was since he did have a saiyan tail wrapped around his waist. Though nothing out of the ordinary stuck out and he headed straight to where the big ballers were! The cocky tall slim built human with a cigarette in his mouth, trying his luck and bluffs into winning big time in a game of poker though he was losing every second of it. Next was a gigantic android looking machine so big that you wondered how he got a chair at the table though no one questioned it because of his size and how strong he was appearance wise. Though there were a number of seats opened up, only four individuals were playing the poker game right now. Surge had spotted the table in which he was going to run his con and headed straight to the receptionist in order to buy his chips. After buying his chips and heading straight to the table with the tall slim man and the big robot, he headed straight to the table and smiled at the two gentlemen. "Is there a spot open for this table?"Normally they would have brushed him off and told him to fuck off, but they noticed the variety of colored chips that he had and he had more of the good numbers than most. If one person were to win his chips alone, they would be able to pay off rent for six months at least. The tall slim human gestured him with a nod to join in on the table and he started the introduction. "How you doing blue, take a seat and we are about to start a new game.""The names Surge, a pleasure to meet you."They played two rounds at most and Surge was stupidly throwing in high amounts of money and losing on purpose with the cards he was dealt. To make matters worst, he was close to being bankrupt at this point. So he decided to change up his game and decided to win this time around. He not only won, but got double than what he had began with. The table of folks could already feel tension in the air, almost like they had never lost a single game in their life. So the dynamic of it was going to change, the slim tall employee of the establishment wasn't going to lose money for the establishment. The robot had left the table out of "frustration" but really he was close by to use his eyes to zoom in on Surge's next set of cards and give signals to the tall slim guy. The slim guy on the other hand, had extra cards up his sleeve in order to give him the advantage. The next round was made and Surge had now lost his pile. He was at an utter lost for words at this point and as he sat there, the slim guy spoke up once again after Surge not hearing him the first time. "You ready to play another round friend?"

"The usual." Wilkes' words caused the receptionist to nod hastily, seemingly not even taking any money directly from the Alien as they slid a sizeable amount of high-dollar chips towards him. Unbeknownst to the lizard, his exceptional power which normally went unnoticed among the simple masses would easily be picked up on by a certain hybrid seated further in. His own scouter was set aside, as it usually was when not out on a bounty hunting mission. The security didn't even bother to stop the man despite the sizeable energy rifle strapped to his back, patrons moving from his path in quiet murmurs. For a moment the Alien's eyes scanned the rough and tumble crowds before landing upon the table Surge was seated. With a low-pitched grumble, Wilkes stalked over to the proceedings in time to see the Brenchian lose big. Just in time for his opponent to offer another game, only to look up and visibly recoil at Wilkes' sudden appearance.
"On second though, I should get going-" The human started before his hand was pushed to the table by Wilkes' clawed touch. "What's the matter, Courne mate? Got a hot date?" The Alien laughed in a raspy hush as if the last part was meant to be a joke. "I see you're playing cards around here again even after our last chat. You know what happens to folks who cross me in my own turf after polite warnings?" With speed almost invisible to the normal eye, the energy rifle was unslung from the Alien's back and rattled off a single, fatal shot to the human's robot companion, hitting them dead in the upper torso. "That's what happens," He hissed vehemently as the gun was deftly returned to its holster. "Now take your sorry ass and your bluescreened tin-can piece of shit and get out. Leave your winnings." Courne scampered off, a few of the other patrons dragging the robot outside as Wilkes took the man's former seat, eyeing Surge with a slight shimmer of interest.
"Looks like the con got outconned, eh mate?" Leaning in, the man pressed a single clawed finger to his jaw for silence as he sized the hybrid up and down. A wide, toothy grin spread across his face. "Those louts thought they could cheat me of all people the other day. And what's your gig? I know it isn't clean if you're gambling here." Not that it mattered. Cheating only mattered if you were caught in the act or got on the bad side of someone powerful. "Hows about we play a round, then?" Without much care he pushed the entire pot to the center, offering Surge a chance to win what he had lost. "I'm assuming you're broke. So for this one special game, if you accept, come up with something interesting to wager."

Everything had appeared normal from Surge's perspective, the tall slim human had wagered him another round. All Surge could do was simply fold his hands together as he planted them on the table. So many thoughts had run through his head on how he could have lost the last game. Just when he was about to call it quits, Surge had suddenly felt the presence of another being entering the establishment. Surge looked over his shoulder and stared at the dinosaur looking individual who was headed towards his direction. His spine started too creep up as the tiny hairs at the back of his head started to go upward as if this man was coming towards him for some reason. Surge wasn't nervous, but the last thing he wanted was to have a fight with someone since he was new to this city. Just when he was about to reach for his revolver which was by his hip and underneath his military uniform concealed, he looked to the tall slim human and was about to say something. But he had suddenly stopped himself from uttering a single word and the tall slim human's face had grown pale, no, he was terrified at the dinosaur lizard coming to the table.
Whoever this ugly dinosaur was, he was indeed intimidating to say the least and after he spoke, Surge had raised a brow. Apparently the two had known one another and it looks like the man was a cheater at that. His robotic partner had become nothing but spare parts now and the human had left without taking the pot. After that, the lizard had looked his way and Surge still bringing his concealed hand straight to his revolver and took a grab at it without causing any sudden commotion or any sound from it since it was light and not quick or heavy on the grip. However he had spoken, to his amazement the lizard wasn't going to attack him at all. Based on the whole ordeal, Surge had seen this type of thing take place in the unknown regions of space where high level gangsters claimed certain territories. Most of them were rich and wealthy enough to carry themselves, others were bounty hunters and low level thieves out there trying to make a name for themselves out and about in the galaxy. Which brought the question to Surge's mind, which was this man before his eyes? A gangster or a wealthy individual who didn't need no ones help or service. Nevertheless, Surge would test the waters as he let go of his revolver and placing it back to the table as the man pushed the chips towards his direction. Surge had suddenly smirked and looked towards the man's direction with the look of being a serious military man.
"You appear to be a strong man that. So much so you took care of a couple cheaters for me. I should thank you for doing that service even though it was indirectly."
With the remaining chips that he did have, minus the pile that was pushed to the center. Surge pushing all of the chips towards Wilkes direction and placing his arms back and folding his hands together on the table.
"You can have all of it for helping me out. That should cover about seven to eight months of rent if you are struggling. However if you are a well off man who doesn't need the money then just keep it as a thank you for helping me. However, I am not a simple man who needs this money. In fact."
He would reach into his shirt pocket on his left side and pull out his insignia and placing it on the table towards the man's direction. A golden edge shield shape insignia with the same golden material that's in the shape of an eagle. With a black color behind the eagle as the solid base color for it.
"I am the leader of the Galactic Storm Fleet. We are known throughout the unknown regions in the South side of the Galaxy. We are rather new to this region of space and this planet. If you are willing to earn more money. I can gladly provide it for you after a completion of a task."
Surge kept his look stern, his eyes locked, and his presence strong. He was used to the criminal element and this man was no different. If he agreed, then Surge would take the next course of action like he was so used to doing.

The dino-lizard clicked a few times, sound most likely foreign to the hybrid across from him as Wilkes re-evaluated the situation. This wasn't some random stranger wandering in from space with a plan far smaller than their ego in a gambling ring. Nonetheless he couldn't help but be tempted by the pot, greedy nature coming into play as he decided to scoop the offered chips into a bag with a huff. He almost snorted in amusement when the man suggested he might be low on funds, given that Wilkes' "habit" of collecting money left him one of the richest people on planet without a doubt. Yet he hadn't missed the defensive posture this Alien adopted at first. There was no way to know for sure but based on his experience it was likely that this guy smuggled a gun in past security. Not that it was hard... In fact Wilkes had the privilege of not having to bother hiding his long rifle. Vibroblades and blaster pistols were still hidden on his person for the element of surprise, of course.
"Storm Fleet, is it now? You lot some kind of mercenary corps or would you be more like the now defunct World Trade Fleet?" He leaned in, greenish-yellow eyes examining Surge for his reaction. "Lots of folks didn't take kindly to the Fleets posturing and threats to halt our way of life here on Earth if you catch me drift, mate." This planet may have been his home, but such attachments meant little to one who's primary concern was netting a profit and taking thrill in the hunt. However, if you can manage my costs I would be willing to come to an agreement for your organization. I can do many things ranging from assassination to extortion. Ultimately depends on what the client needs and if they can afford it all, you understand. There aren't many hired guns on the market with my expertise and natural ability."

Surge had raised another brow, only this time he had simply shook his head in almost disgust.
"Ah yes, the World Trade Fleet was it? Yes even our parts of the galaxy have heard of the Fleet and the Saiyan Kingdom. Their names are known no matter where you go. We aren't a mercenary faction nor do we have the famous status of those two. We however, are a different kind of organization."
He would promptly clear his throat, preparing himself to explain to the man on how he did things when it comes to his organization and how to promptly explain it without giving anything away.
"My organization has gone to planet after planet, protecting the locals from any foreign invaders that would threaten their way of life. For instance there are species out there that aren't built for fighting and serve other purposes such as growing crops or working on computers. They would constantly get harassed and they would hire us to protect them. We would do the job, normally takes about five to ten years for secured protection for them. However they pay us differently. They pay us with crops or tech support that we don't currently have. Which further aids us in the future. During our recent voyage we had acquired a crate of scouters and other items."
He would reach into another pocket, pulling out a photo of himself at a younger age but still recognizable, standing next to a red shrimp looking alien life form child. The picture along was the background of their village and smiles on both of their faces.
"I have spent my career helping those in need, both criminal and innocent. Both on the field and behind a desk. You yourself can have either of those life choices. I currently am stuck with a rather difficult predicament."
With his left hand, he would reach into his pants pocket and pull out a photo.
"I was going to call a broker in order to take care of this situation for me, but since I have met you I believe it won't be necessary."
The picture would resemble that of a snake looking individual that had such a bad hunch that you would wonder how he is comfortable standing like that. He had two arms and legs and some muscle to him. Though the fork tongue still stays and looking as menacing as ever.
"He has escaped my presence and is the main reason why I have come to this planet. He's on this planet and in this city. He decided to steal one of my ships reactor and sell it on the black market. We were able to catch up to him on this planet. So I need that reactor back and his body. You will get paid up front and double your earnings then what you had been given tonight."
He kept his look serious and posture strong, waiting for the Dino's answer and hopefully an agreement would be made.

"Different," Wilkes echoed neutrally, reaching to a pouch at his side, claws gripping a piece of jerky as he unceremoniously tossed the strip up - jaws snapping it up in one bite. Surge's carefully structured speech painted his group in as good a light as possible, though the hybrid suspected that something more was operating beneath the surface facade of being a mere defensive army-for-hire. Size and funds weren't acquired in a line of work like that, so if Wilkes was to believe Surge's claim on how large this organization was... Hm. There was definitely more to the story than this man cared to share. Yet did it matter? Staring at the photo with concealed interest, Wilkes grumbled. "Yet you aren't the cleanest shrub this side of the Milky Way either. Otherwise you wouldn't be in a place like this, talking about hiring someone with my reputation." His claws tapped the table, an eerie rapping noise ringing out from it as the dim sounds of patrons around them continued on.
"I don't require full disclosure from employers, but I do have one specific clause: If this 'deal' of ours ends up screwing me over I will not take kindly to it. Whatever low-brow morally questionable actions you usually perform matter not when you sign the check, but do not let secrecy overtake efficiency." At least the talk turned to the job at hand now. At a glance it seemed like a pretty standard bounty-hunting affair. They wanted to catch a thief with their tech. "Based on your phrasing, I believe it's safe to say you wouldn't mind a charred corpse instead of a live subject?" Much easier too. "Alright, mate. See no issues with this arrangement as long as you can keep your word on the price." It wasn't a small amount, after all. Clients had tried to bail on payment before, too, but it hadn't ever worked yet. Taking the photo and slipping it into his suit-jacket pocket, Wilkes paused for a moment to extend his hand. "Wilkes. You are?" Assuming Surge reciprocated the gesture the hybrid would continue on his way, depositing the stash of chips with the front counter and putting it on credit for the time being.

When he had mentioned that Surge wasn't exactly an angel that met the eye since he was around these parts. He slightly chuckled and smirked.
"You don't go to a basketball game trying to find good soccer players to recruit for your team. I also never screw over clients. That is something you must know upfront. I pay what is owed no matter what."
Then the mention of how he wanted the job to be taken cared of, it truly didn't matter to Surge but most likely he would want the target gone and out of his hair then to become a threat later on.
"No, I want him dispose of but I want the body to come to me. The names Surge by the way. Wilkes, you definitely have the means to take care of a few pest cheaters. I look forward to see how you fair."
He brought his hand forward to shake on it, hopefully the two would get along from here on out.

The hybrids' scouter buzzed to life as Wilkes stepped out of the bar, nostrils flaring beneath his armored scales as he scanned the immediate area. "Chaves, I need someone located." This part of town, and even the city at large, was constantly under watch. Criminal elements of all creeds kept tabs on who came and went and that went doubly so for any offworlders. The last thing some of these groups needed is any interference in their local business by outsiders. Chaves was an information broker of sorts with connections directly with the spaceport authority and police. While this method was far from perfect it at least served as a good starting point for elements looking to track individuals down for various sorts of reasons. In this case it was assassination and target acquisition, but such information was never given nor asked for when it came to brokers. "Who's got ya goat this time, Wilkes? A local or a tourist?" The lizard-dino grunted, responding: "Snake alien. Shift type. Carrying something close to him. Probably went sniffing around in the black market surface."
Trying to pawn off the stolen reactor as fast as possible, no doubt. Hauling something that unique and heavy around was a red flag for any hunters tracking it down, and with any luck the alien would've been unable to get rid of it by now. "Well I got a few hits near the docks? Seemed to have splintered off a larger group of aliens in some sort of fleet. Hard for the PD or even most of the gangs to pin down, but a few hairs were rustled on the surface market. Some word about a power source." Perfect. "Five percent as usual, Chaves." Usually the fee was much steeper for direct information like that, but Wilkes' reputation was enough that even offering that was considered generous. A serpentine-like tongue flickered from Wilkes' clamped maw, anticipation of an upcoming hunt riling him up a bit as he took flight. His target destination was the Southern Slum Docks, a mess of grimy rusted warehouses - a mix of abandoned companies and strongholds claimed by criminals alike. Wilkes landed, scanning the area with his scouter and coming up with a few pings that were all worth investigating. His rifle was unslug, chamber humming with energy as he went on-guard for any sort of surprise attack.

The snake alien was rather, not clever on how he operated the stealing business. No concealment, nothing. He believed that he was a big bad ole timer that hit it big! His disgusting fork tongue stuck out like a cat in dire need of water. His hunchback made him look as old as ever and the crew he had hired to take it off his hands, were two former World Trade Fleet soldiers that left the force due to the fall of Lord Chill. One of the soldiers looked at the reactor that the Snake had brought in and had immediately folded his arms in curiosity.
"Man, where did you get this reactor? It sells for a lot of money on the black market... This probably came from a mothership more than likely..."
The snake hissed and laughed at the same time as he bobbled his head up and down.
"It was easy, I stole it from the Galactic Storm Fleet."
"What is that? A mercenary group?"
"I don't really know. But that's besides the point. Now let's get down to business. What's your offer for this thing?"
I will give you 50,000 grand for it."
"It's a deal!"
A high power level had enter the fray and close by at that. He throat had caught the chunk of saliva stuck in his throat. He was indeed nervous. So much so that he felt the power level coming closer and closer!
"Tell ya what guys, you help me beat this punk and I will cut the cost in half."
"Hehe, you have got yourself a deal."
The three of them had waited for the lizard to step around the corner in which case they were going to blast them with their ki blasters all at the same time. The snake man was hissing to his hearts content and couldn't wait to beat him down!

Wilkes, knowing full-well what could've be waiting around the corner, stepped confidently out regardless... and straight into the blaster fire of the grouped aliens. A plume of smoke kicked up, obscuring the shooters' vision even as they kept firing into the unknown, hoping to overwhelm their enemy with endless firepower. A shimmer of light cut through the haze, Wilkes stepping forth as his scales glimmered in a chromatic light. A low hiss ebbed from the hybrid's jaw as the energy faded away, body a bit scratched and bruised but otherwise unharmed. Shocked, the two former Fleet soldiers attempted to raise their weapons to fire again. Quicker on the draw, Wilkes levied his own rifle at the first of the trio, channeling his own energy in the weapon and delivering a clean headshot to the first. The second had his finger on the trigger but was unceremoniously interrupted by a bolt of energy striking him square in the chest.
"You stole from the wrong man," He growled, threat evident in his tone. "And unfortunately for you he had the cash to hire me." Wilkes would be quick to attempt to line up another straight lethal shot to the snake alien, but seeing as how the crook had enough time to see the fate of his buyers it was more than likely they'd be prepared for it.

The three of them had cheered when the blast had impacted the dino. However much to their surprise, he was still standing without a scratch. They continued to fire, only to be left in the dust as both of the former fleet soldiers had perished with a single shot given to the head of the first and the chest to the second. The snake's jaw had dropped and he had collapsed to the ground and looked to the towering foe with extreme fear.
"Heck I don't even want the reactor! KEEP IT!"
He had left the reactor on the ground and had immediately high tailed it out of there by running as fast as he could.
Meanwhile
Surge was back at the casino, heck instead of losing this time he was winning big. So much, that he decided to cash it in and use that money in order to pay the dinosaur once he had gotten back. As he sat near the slot machines at a table by himself, he carried with him a briefcase. Just when he was about to have a relaxed evening, the tall slim human had shown up, only this time he had two other brute humans along side with him as well. They had surrounded Surge and briefly looked around a bit.
"Looks like your friend had up and left you. Now hand over that money you got in your briefcase."
"You wanna know what your mistake was? To assume that I wasn't a fighter."
Surge had vanished from being in a triangle formation from the three of them. Appearing right above them and slamming both his hands down against the back of the skull of both the brute humans. Smashing their skulls against the table that was behind him. They would knock out immediately and a strong forward kick was then pressed against the tall slim man and sending him straight flying to a pillar. Surge sitting on the stool and grabbing the brief case off the table. He calmly walked over to the tall man who was still conscious.
"You know what, forget this happened."
He tossed Surge a few stacks in front of him and was on his way. Surge grabbing the money and heading out the door of the casino and waiting for his associate to show up. While he stood out, he smoked his cigarette.
