The footprints from the unfortunately ruined plot of farmland had long been washed away and covered up, masking any direction the two newcomers to East City had walked from. The dirt and mud covered feet were another story entirely, showing a long walk at the very least with a story clearly hidden somewhere under all that collected filth. Despite the minimal knowledge gathered on their trek towards this first populated area of their journey, there were far more questions than answers.
Four years wasn't much time in the grand scheme of a life, especially for an android built to last far longer than the average mortal. When you are left to sleep for four years past a given mission that time stacks up and measures differently. There was no lack of holo-boards or screens blaring news to give the accurate current date, but what both androids lacked was a proper grasp on what had happened and if their mission had any point after so long.
There was a lack of spatial awareness between the two androids either from a lack of understanding or care for their surroundings as they blatantly walked into the middle of the street, nearly being stuck a dozen times by vehicles as they looked around. One particular truck had to swerve, running into a vehicle parked near an alleyway, and for the first time the two seemed to have the attention of a small crowd as they stopped, standing in the center of an intersection.
Two being that looked to be Arcosians stared out at the crowd with no discernible facial expressions, then to each other for a long moment before the one covered in more spikes than clearly necessary spoke up. His voice rang out in a clearly unnatural tone as if speaking through a loud speaker and a volume loud enough to cause some of the passing people to cringe and cover their ears and the windows of the buildings in a wide radius to rattle.
"EARTHLINGS, HAVE YOU BEEN CONQUERED?"
The second Arcosian recoiled with a mixture of embarrassment and disbelief. Piezo had been created with the intent of fully mimicking an Arcosian both physically and socially, but it was clear the other had not been given any semblance of subtly to his communication skills and was created with the intent of combat first and foremost.

Thread PL: 72,000 | Items: Scouter (Pink) It's been a while since Derry has visited East City. Of all of the cities that the Snakes have snuck into, this one has been the least... developed. The gangster has been making rounds to each city to relax, train, gather extra recruits, or all three at the same time, and today, it was East City's turn. Where to begin, on the other hand, was a whole different problem. The last time he was over in East City, Derry made a whole bunch of enemies with some of the local gangs and got himself in a bit of a pickle. Perhaps he could start with the potential recruitment of Lionel, but that guy might be a bit too keen on remaining at his forge. Oh well, if all else fails, he could always just focus on training.
It was only then that he heard quite a bit of commotion going on a few blocks down. Derry listens closely, and hears the sounds of cars swerving and some really, really loud shouting. The gangster takes his pack of cigarettes and sticks a single one into his mouth and lights it using a pink flame from his finger tip. He then pulls out his pink scouter lens from his pocket and inserts it into his sunglasses. After a brief moment, the lens lights up and displays local power levels. The citizens he currently sees are, of course, in the single digits, but is also reading two much greater power levels: one that was 7,500, and a second at 5,000. They're both pretty weak in comparison to Derry, but he might as well check it out and perhaps even humor them.
About a minute later, Derry arrives at a rather strange scene. There are plenty of people all crowding around the two individuals he spotted earlier. From what he can see, the duo looked like arcosians, but something wasn't quite right with them. Perhaps he'll have to take a closer look at them. Derry slowly approaches the duo, all while urging the crowd, "Excuse me, might wanna get outta the way. What's going on here?" The crowd parts a bit and Derry is now standing pretty close to both 'arcosians.' They certainly look similar to Ticoga back in Central, but Derry couldn't quite figure out what exactly was off about them. The gangster takes a quick puff and speaks, "So, you two new arrivals or something? You haven't come to blow up the planet, have ya?" He laughs it off since the gangster was merely jesting, but even if that was what they were there for, Derry wasn't particularly worried. Then again, they haven't exactly done anything malicious, so perhaps they just a bit confused. They're aliens after all... maybe?

If not the yelling, then all of the commotion was sure to bring attention to the two androids sooner rather than later. What wasn't expected was a substantial power level that stood out among the ones in the vicinity Piezo could sense. It was hard to tell if it was masked before, if was simply further away than he could sense passively given that it was now moving towards the two. No one around either android seemed inclined to engage in conversation either because of their appearance or the way the second android had shouted, so it was only a moment before both started to walk once more.
Those around them were quick to disperse, some assuming they were about to attack and needlessly screaming, others taking pictures and streaming the scene. The more clearly inorganic of the two arcosians stopped and threw up his arm to dramatically point towards the person pushing through the crowd and making their way towards them, and it was more clear this was who Piezo had sensed.
"ONE OF THE EARTHLINGS APPROACHES US."
"Thank you, I had noticed."
The android kept his arm up pointing before Piezo put a hand to him and physically pushed it down. The closer Derry would have gotten the more he would have noticed that from the neck up the android Peltier who had been pointing was at least modeled after an Arcosian, but his eyes were glowing red and a lot of his facial features were clearly mechanical with welded seems around the spikes. The other would have looked like any other Arcosian at first glance.
"Neither of us have any intention of destroying this planet. Both of us have been on your planet for some time yet not on the surface. We were sent to gather information, but it seems as if we are one-thousand four-hundred and thirty seven earth rotations too late. Has this planet been conquered or taken hostage in that time?"

Upon further inspection, Derry could now tell that at least one of these 'arcosians' wasn't actually an arcosian at all. The one with the glowing eyes was now clearly an android, but from afar, he does look pretty convincing. As for the other one, while he may also possess a handful of metal parts strapped to him body, he clearly has actual organic parts. The android points his finger at Derry as he approaches while the arcosian puts its hand down after the remark. Maybe Derry's first assumption wasn't true after all. This was even more apparent as the arcosian admits that they weren't there to destroy the planet, but instead they explain that they've only been activated recently. Apparently there were supposed to be activated almost four years ago, but something clearly went wrong and they were only activated now.
The arcosian then asks Derry if Earth has been conquered or taken hostage, to which Derry chuckles a bit and replies, "Nope, we're all good here. The most we've got recently was that the Queen of the Saiyans decided to make a vacation home here, but besides that, not really. By the way, the name's Derrick Ottoy, friends call me Derry. So, what sort of information do ya need? Just more about what's going on around the galaxy? Judging from the looks these people are giving you, I think it's safe to say you're not... used to Earth custom, is that correct?"

The newcomer seemed civil enough as far as Piezo was concerned, but at some point the other android had wandered off into traffic like a small child.
"CEASE SCREAMING. WE MEAN NO HARM. WE ARE LOOKING FOR INFORMATION." A box truck plowed into the side of the android who had stepped into the street once more and came to a sudden stop, but the android didn't bother to look let alone slow down.
"I see. Neither Arcosian fleets nor Saiyan fleets have been to your planet in the last four Earth years in an attempt to take control of this planet in any form?" The android kept wandering off for a moment before Piezo whistled loudly and it started to return as if calling a pet. The driver of the vehicle eventually stumbled out and a few people had run over to check on them, but neither android seemed phased or worried as if nothing was happening around them outside of this conversation.
"Gather this information. Don't wander off and bother the humans. This one is sharing."
"I'M HELPING"
"You most assuredly are not."
The less distracted of the two androids turned back once more, and now the second was standing very close and staring leaned over at Derry before the first sighed and pulled him back a few feet.
"My des- The name I go by is Piezo. This is-"
"I AM CALLED PELTIER, EARTHLING."
"There is no need to yell at the Earthlings. Take note of this ones volume as we speak in such close proximity and adjust accordingly."
There was a pause as the android sighed as if it was a parent dealing with a child.
"My most sincerest apologies. You are the first Earthling either of us have spoken to, and the first being this one next to me has spoken to in almost a decade. His intelligence is actually high if you were rate it, but his social skills are near non-existent. We were sent to gather information on this planet as a whole years ago with the impending attempt at conquering at least three planets on the horizon. Due to unforeseen circumstances the two of us were not put into proper service to said cause until a day ago instead of the nearly four years intended."

Derry watches as the android moves about screaming in an attempt to calm the crowd down, only for it to backfire and get the crowd even more riled up than before. If Derry was an upstanding citizen, he would probably stop the android from just going all over the place and causing panic, but it was just too entertaining to stop. "Yeah, see, while you were asleep, it seems as if every other part of the galaxy was undergoing massive change. First Vegeta was conquered by Arcose, then the Saiyans moved over here and lived with us, then they fought back and got Vegeta back, then they took Arcose, then namek blew up, and now we have namekians living with us. So compared to everywhere else, not much has changed here on Earth, at least, as far as I'm aware of."
Unfortunately, the arcosian called his android back to him, and while they bickered among each other for a bit, they both introduced themselves. The android that still had organic parts was named Piezo while the android next to him shouted that its name was Peltier before Piezo tells it to quiet down. "Well, you two certainly are a colorful bunch," Derry replies.
Piezo then explains the reason they were originally created was to gather information on Earth before attempting to conquer it, but their activation has been delayed by a total of four years. "I see. Huh, guess that explains Arcose's interest in Earth a while back. Well, now that you're at least somewhat caught up, what exactly is your next goal? If ya ever need a ride back to Arcose, there's spaceports at every major city, although that place might be a bit different nowadays. But if you planning on staying around for a while, perhaps you need someone to show you around, get to know the place, ya know?" In an attempt to appeal to the two newcomers, Derry takes out his pack of cigarettes in his pocket and asks, "I know you're both androids, but do ya smoke? I can light it to if ya need it?" With a snap of Derry's fingers, a tiny pink flame appears on his pointer finger.

Both androids listened intently, but only Piezo showed anything resembling emotion at the tale with a lot of information in a short period of time. If this earthling was able to share so much information then there was no doubt the creators knew of this. His first priority was to gain information and as much as possible, but there was a sudden heavy feeling in his chest when it dawned on him the information would likely lead to learning what happened and little else. Both androids were in such a hurry to learn anything they could that it seemed neither had realized that there was no one to report the information to as far as they were aware, and given the time since they were sent to Earth it was almost surely out of date.
"That is more than I can process. To be clear the information has processed exceptionally quickly and efficiently, but I understand said comment to be a turn of phrase. I assume in the same way your observation of our color is more a comment on our personalities and not our chosen color pallets."
"I'M PRETTY"
"You are very much not, nor was that the statement made. Just stay quiet and listen, please." The question presented was not one he had an immediate answer to, and though the other android looked as if he wanted to speak, he was in fact staying quiet for once.
"I have no further given goals to achieve given the information gathered. Also neither of us are from Arcose. Given the creators this is the only planet I have ever witnessed unlike my counterpart. Going to Arcose would also be unwise again, given the creators. It would be unlikely we would be welcomed, and more likely we would be destroyed in some manner or interrogated for information we clearly do not have. I'm not worried about myself, despite my speech patterns I have an organic brain technically. My counterpoint however was built for little more than combat, so I'm not sure how well he will fit into a peaceful surrounding for long. We expected aggression from the locals in some form, but have found little to none."
"SMOKING IS BAD"
"How would you know?"
Peltier pointed up at a billboard that seemed to be some sort of anti-smoking campaign.
"No, we don't smoke."

It appears as if Piezo wasn't quite used to these sorts of slang that earthlings use, which was expected given what little Derry knows about the duo. "Eh, you pick up on this sort of thing eventually. If you're around people for long enough, it'll start making more and more sense. Still, it's probably jarrin' for ya." At least, Derry could say this confidently about Piezo. He seems to be the more... proactive type, actively seeking out information and learning more about his surroundings. Of course, that was what he was tasked to do, but it was nice to have a little chat and test himself on his history knowledge. Peltier, on the other hand, is probably gonna take some work. Derry will take Piezo's word that Peltier is actually quite intelligent, but with the way he's been acting, he's basically a buffoon on Earth. "And yeah, it'll probably take some work for him to get used to things."
Derry listens intently to Piezo as he goes on about how they'll likely stay here on earth given the fact that the local populace on Arcose might not be so kind to them. "Well, I suppose that's fair enough. Although, it's a bit strange that you haven't even been to Arcose, but I suppose it makes since given your original mission. Yeah, I'm sure you'll be able to find a place for yourself. Lots of people are willin' ta give arcosians a chance, even an android arcosian such as yourself. As for your buddy, well, it'll be a bit harder for him to fit in. If you have the skills, or if you could find a tech wiz, reprograming might be on the table, but if ya dedicated to keepin 'em the way he is, well..." The gangster ponders for a moment while rubbing his chin, then continues, "Actually, just because we're in peace times doesn't necessarily mean we don't have any use for combat. There's plenty of jobs suited for combat, now that I think about it. Police, the military, hell, he could just be a trainer. I'm positive you'll find somethin'."
Peltier humorously points up at a billboard that has a no smoking ad on it, and Piezo confirms that neither of them smoke. "Yeah, figures," Derry mutters as he extinguishes the small pink flame. "Well, I at least threw out some ideas, but maybe you should get used to, well, the locals, let's say. They've got bars, theaters, shops, you name it."

"Jarring, yes that's a good way to word it. I was only partially aware and wake during the tests the creators did for me, but I have no full memories of conversations with them. I know their speech patterns and what information I've been implanted with to understand languages on a literal level, but contextually it's very different than what was expected."
The more talkative and adjusted of the two androids kept glancing over to his counterpart to make sure he wasn't running off into traffic and keeping track of the conversation in its entirety. It didn't seem visually that Peltier was being distracted, and he wasn't shouting for the moment so it was a step in the right direction for certain.
"I can speak for both of us if need be. It was why we were sent as a pair. If he had come alone he would have either killed someone or gotten himself killed in quick fashion I would venture to guess. I being sent alone would have had trouble defending myself and you can only talk your way out of so many situations. He may not seem so on the surface, but he is a much more competent fighter than myself at the moment."
Derry's curiosities were understandable, but this was one of the moments Piezo found himself tested on what he could deem pertinent information to share openly with a stranger. The differing factions, the ones currently in charge that weren't even Arcosian, those scientists working with and against the ones that created him, all would be curious about Peltier and himself and perhaps not for the betterment of the two.
"Peltier and myself were not created on Arcose. That reason is not something I can divulge nor the location, but for that reason we have never been there. Others were sent to other planets for scouting but we were created and sent here so there is a chance we may never have left Earth even under different circumstances." For the first time Piezo rose his voice and waves his hands in front of his face, taking a surprising protective step in front of Peltier at Derry's suggestion of finding someone to reprogram him. It was an innocent suggestion and one meant with good intentions, but the idea triggered something in Piezo that caused him to act the way he did.
"That is not an option. If repairs or work needs to be done I can do it. There will be no tinkering with or reprogramming of him." His mind caught up with his actions and his reaction to the situation and immediately he stepped back into a neutral position, stepping back next to Peltier who was now staring a hole in Derry with his eyes glowing brighter.
"I am uninterested in most forms of entertainment, though I have been going through the records left in my memory and my memories before-"
He let his words hang in the air as if he had glitched and froze, slowly looking down as a sigh escaped his lips before he spoke once more.
"We should learn all we can about Earth, entertainment or otherwise. Technology, infrastructure, agriculture, defense capabilities, everything."

"Yeah, like I said, it's gonna take some time to get all of that in ya head," Derry replies, "but hey, at least you don't have to learn a completely different language." Piezo then goes on stating that Peltier is actually a far more competent fighter than he is, but Derry didn't find this to be the complete picture. "Interesting, really. When I read you with my scouter," the gangster continues as he taps his sunglasses, "It showed me that you possessed a higher power level than your partner here. I suppose it might come down to programming and such, but I find that to be particularly intersting."
Derry has certainly met his fair share of... interesting people in the past. There was that one time when he was attacked by some zombie ghost thing in the desert, that time when a giant beetle was chugging a whole bunch of hetap in the middle of a gang meetup, and even a crazy green lady who refuses to fight in the rain because it could get in her eyes. Needless to say, none of this particularly phased Derry, at least, not too much. Peltier was still wandering about, albeit not causing too much commotion this time around while Piezo was still paying attention to what the gangster has to say. Peltier may be intelligent, at least that's what Piezo says, but with his current understanding of social interactions, he might as well be a child inhabiting the body of a weaponized android.
According to Piezo, they weren't even originally created on Arcose, which was strange given the fact that one of them is part arcosian and the other is modeled after one. "Kind of a strange thing, really," Derry replies after taking a puff of his cigarette aimed away from the androids, "an arcosian android and an android made to look like one haven't ever been to Arcose, even when they've been first created. Heh, kinda just like some newborn saiyans here on Earth." Apparently, Piezo got pretty defensive about the whole reprogramming idea, stating that he'll be able to perform repairs and maintenance on his partner, but refuses to reprogram him. Derry guesses that's fair enough, but one thing he notices from this interaction was that there was quite a bit of an emotional reaction coming from Piezo. The gangster guesses that just because he's an android doesn't exactly mean that he's gonna act like one. After all, he's still got his original brain.
As Peltier stares directly at Derry, Piezo goes on about how he's not particularly interested in entertainment, but he stops himself for a moment and agrees that he needs to learn more about the planet. Derry replies, "Well, I can always show you some of tha basic stuff 'round here, but for stuff like defense, agriculture, ya know, that kinda stuff, I'd recommend speakin' to someone else. I'm not exactly super informed on that stuff. What I do know is that you're bound to find some luck over at Capsule Corp. over in West City, or maybe if you're lucky, you could go to the King's Castle in Central. Someone over there is bound to inform you over there. Crop Co. is also over there, but if you wanna get into the King's Castle, I'm pretty sure they're gonna have to run some background checks and you'll need to schedule an appointment." Derry takes one last puff of his cigarette and disintegrates the rest by conjuring pink fire in his hand.

Anyone giving Peltier a long hard look would have noticed his body language giving off an air of smug confidence, despite his facial expressions not shifting. It was hard to tell if he could give full expressions as the majority of his face was mechanical and stiff and most of the rest of his face below his eyes was covered in a metallic mask.
"Power level is not the same as fighting skill."
Nudging Peltier with a pointed elbow, he looked him over for a moment, reaching up and poking at one of the exaggerated spiked protruding from the top of his head. Looking at the two androids, even power levels aside it was clear which of the two was meant to look menacing and which was likely made for combat situations, despite which had the higher fighting strength.
"Think of it like having bigger muscles, that doesn't mean you are going to automatically win in a fight. It's what you do with the muscles. I might be stronger for now, but our differences in power level aren't that wide. If the two of us were to fight he would almost certainly beat me head on. If you look at the gap between your power level and mine however, that's a different story, and a mountain that wouldn't be easily conquered even with a good fighting style I would wager. I can fight, but I wasn't created to fight. I was created as a hybrid of Arcosians and cybernetic lifeforms to perfectly mimic an Arcosian with the benefits of infinite stamina, energy, and an increased life span. He was created to look like an Arcosian and blow stuff up."
"BOOM"
"Thanks for that."
It seemed as if Peltier had gotten his fill of information gathering, or simply felt there was nothing more to gather from this specific part of the conversation as he turned and began looking around once more. Piezo was mostly unphased this time as he hadn't gone wandering into traffic or screaming at the locals so it wasn't his concern.
"I have a basic understand of this planet and the culture, but even I'm not so naive to believe some of what I would ask will be shared easily. If there has been any sort of conflict on this planet then wanting to know everything there is to know may come off as gathering information for more nefarious reasons."
His eyes darted back and forth as if reading words Derry couldn't see as he spoke of different locations, and once more Peltier was still and listening without being forced to do so.
"I have no record of this Crop Co. you speak of. I also have no background to check, so if that would be a requirement of admittance anywhere then that would pose a problem. I do have ask, are all Earthlings as filled with information or so forthcoming when they speak? Our run ins with Earthlings has been limited."

Piezo goes on to explain how both he and Peltier are built and that while he might be stronger now, should the two of them fight, Piezo might win now, but combat isn't the main reason why he was built. In contrast, Peltier was made specifically for combat purposes, and so he'll grow stronger and stronger at a faster rate than Piezo. "Interesting. I suppose being made with actual pieces of flesh might give you a bit of a head start to Peltier, but I suppose it would make sense that a machine literally made for combat would eventually surpass something that wasn't designed for that purpose." Of course, Peltier was attempting to get into the conversation every now and then by making some sort of noise in an attempt to interact with the two. Derry found it a bit... endearing. The way Peltier is right now, it almost is like a child, but at least he's trying. It's certainly more than what Derry would get out of some druggies that took a loan from the Dirty Snakes.
The arcosian android shares concerns regarding acquiring this sort of information in the first place, mostly since certain people might think they're doing it for some sinister reason. Derry slightly lowers his sunglasses, exposing his brown eyes and replies, "Well, I'm certain there's people willing to divulge at least some of that information to ya. 'Course, there's always going to be some information that'll be confidential, but if ya make a name for yourself and show everyone what you're like, then they'll probably be more willlin' to talk."
Piezo then comes forward for concerns regarding said background check regarding Crop Co. and the King's Castle. "Well, if they won't let ya in 'cause you don't have a background, then make one. Like I said earlier, make a name for yourself, and prove to everyone around ya who you are. Eventually, you'll work your way into the King's Castle and Crop Co. Same thing goes with the people. Regular folk are probably gonna be intimidate by ya, that part's pretty much inevitable. However, if you can prove that you only have the best intentions, they'll accept ya."
Why was Derry doing all of this? He's going about telling them to make a name for themselves, to be model citizens, to rightfully earn respect, but he himself is a crime lord. Even though it's a bit conflicting, Derry wasn't particularly worried about the duo foiling any of his own plans. After all, their strength pales in comparison to his own, and it'll take a long while catching up one day. Besides, Derry isn't even positive he's going to remain the boss of the Snakes for much longer. He might be a real bastard, but he's got standards.

The first and most likely only step in the two android's plan was already checked off the list in quick enough fashion. Their only goal was to get to a populated city and find earthlings to speak to and gather information, and at least so far they had found one more than willing to talk at length. There was clearly more information to gather from others but neither were in a hurry given their current predicament.
"I'm not sure the inclusion of flesh directly gives me any benefit as much as being a more advanced model. Peltier was created before me and even then he was built from an originally failed and flawed design. Perhaps part of my former bodies strength carried over, but I have no memories from that past life to speak on that in any concrete way."
There was a pause as Piezo looked to Peltier for a long moment as if the two were communicating, but there was no sign if they were, an nothing as much as a not of acknowledgement after the fact.
"We have no means of communication currently, so if we need to find you after this meeting how would we go about doing so?"
A swift punch came from Piezo, smacking Peltier in his shoulder as if to wake the android from some type of stupor, only causing him to look to the side in response. It might not have been obvious, but to Piezo he had noticed Peltier had frozen up for a moment. While care and attention had been given to Piezo when he was being created, the same had not gone into Peltier's. Both versions of him were rushed into production to get him onto his mission as soon as possible, but when things changed and plans shifted his programming and assembly had never been fixed before Piezo was created and both sent off in a rush.
"Apologies, I need to do maintenance much sooner than expected. In regards to making a name as you put it, I'm not sure how to do that safely and properly. We are not looking to stand out as that could hinder information gathering, and we don't want to make ourselves look like any sort of a threat as we most certainly are not. That being said, there are parts of your information you shared that do worry us both so I am going to ask for something that was not in the original parameters of the information for us to gather. You seem strong, and you look to have a unique ability to create a type of flame, so could you show us an example of the strength you posses? Possibly somewhere less public to not further panic the locals."

According to Piezo, he isn't entirely sure if being part organic provides any real benefits to him. It could help, but neither he nor Derry knew the full extent of such a design choice. Piezo also shares that he has no recollection of his previous life before becoming an android. "Truly? No memories, no documents? I presume there might not be anyone alive today that worked directly on your creation. Either that, or they've actually lost interest. In that case, I guess this is your second chance at a brand new life. You may not know who you were before, but you've got a shot at a second life."
After a brief moment of Piezo and Peltier staring at each other, which slightly unnerved Derry, Piezo states that they currently don't have any forms of communication and is wondering how to find Derry. The gangster immediately takes a tiny notebook out of his back pocket along with a red pen and starts writing something down on a page. He rips it off and hands it off to Piezo, stating, "Alright, that first sequence of numbers is my personal phone number. If you ever get your hands on some sort of cellular device, you can input that number and we'll talk through the phone. The number sequence down below is my personal scouter frequency number," the gangster mentions as he taps his sunglasses, "Again, should you ever get your hands on a scouter, you can call me that way. If neither of those work, I live over in Central City. That business at the bottom, John's Auto Repair, is where I work." Of course, the business stood as a front for the Dirty Snakes, but Derry has a bit of a soft spot for that workshop.
Peltier lands a rather nasty punch against Piezo while they were talking, and Derry points at the android and asks Piezo, "Is... he supposed to do that? 'Cause I have a feeling he isn't supposed to do that." Not long after, Piezo would answer his question, stating that they were in need of repairs, albeit sooner than expected. The arcosian android has worries about trying to make a name for themselves since it could interfere with getting their hands on more information. "I suggest slowly but surely working your way up," Derry says to Piezo, "Start with something small, like stopping some lowlife criminal, or somethin' like that. Nothing that's too far out of your comfort zone. Eventually, your reputation will grow, but it'll probably take some time."
Lastly, Piezo came forward with a rather interesting request for Derry: To demonstrate his powers to the two androids. The gangster chuckles to himself for a bit and replies, "Oh yeah, I'll show you what these bad boys can do. 'Course, like you said, we would probably cause a bit of a panic here, so how about this: If you can prove your worth and make a name for yourself, I'll show you what I've got. When the time comes, give me a call or swing on over to the shack, and I'll find a more private spot to show you my power. And who knows: I might be even stronger then. What do you say?"

"Brains are interesting that way. In truth they are nothing more than a biological part controlling and sending information to other biological parts attached to them. Perhaps there was some sort of trauma that led to me forgetting, or maybe I was no one important and what I know now is far more important than what I did. It doesn't unnerve or distress me regardless of the reasons."
There was still a part of Piezo that was coming to grips with what he was let alone what he used to be. He had only been awake and aware for a short amount of time, but his mind was filled with information enough to fill a mind with what he assumed to be memories even if not his own. It was possible he would never know who he was or why he was chosen to be what he was now, but it wasn't a thought that concerned him for now at least more than fleeting thoughts.
"Perhaps the creators are dead, perhaps not, there is no way for me to know for sure, at least not right now. Neither of us have any way to contact the creators, and aside from brief flashes I don't know what they look like let alone names to associate them with. For now as you say, this life is something else than what was intended initially." Taking the piece of paper, he holds it towards Peltier who stares for a moment and nods before letting it go as it floats and flits away with the lightest of breezes.
"I'll keep this in mind. Though I have some reservations of your ideas, maybe I'll call you for help in doing anything of the sort. I'm not keen on being any type of hero however. Similarly I have no intentions of needlessly drawing attention by causing issues for the locals. The affairs of Earthlings are no concern of mine, despite wanting to keep a record of them and keep track of them. I have no doubt we will get pulled into a conflict eventually all the same.
His eyes stayed focused intently on Derry as he made a counter offer for what it would take to get him to show his power, and immediately both androids were trying to come up with ways to either show off or get attention. They weren't impatient but eager to get as much information from as many Earthlings as possible as efficiently as possible.
"They are your powers and your abilities, so in this instance who am I to argue with the offer set out in front of me. I suppose this allows me to unintentionally keep my own cards hidden as a human might say. If those are your terms then I have no choice but to accept on behalf of myself and Peltier."
Both androids gave a heavy nod and Piezo stepped forward extending a hand, putting the other behind his back and bending slightly at the waist. This was the first time during the conversation he had acted more like an Arcosian than an android looking for answers, perhaps a bit of his old self shining through.
