She didn’t want to appear rude or impatient but Zriracha likely never looked more in a hurry before than she was when the Storm Breaker had touched down after their time in space. She’d had her fun and performed the functions of her duty, in addition to learning something new about different species that lived out in space. Hell, she even learned about how a spaceship functioned from Barb! All in all, it was one of the more educational experiences she’d had in a while but it just didn’t beat the intricate uniqueness that… was Earth.
When she’s was soaring over the lushly-topped trees of the forest, however, Zriracha realized belatedly as the excitement wore off that she actually didn’t know where to go first. Should she contact Polarus and ‘catch up’ with him on her adventure? Tell him that she didn’t actually have to kill anyone and had even met another Arcosian? Or perhaps Carro had made some progress on the holographic projector that she could unleash her full power without the need to lose control?
With a sigh, the satyr Demon stopped to float precariously with an air of uncertainty. So many faces she’d met since coming to Earth and so many more she was sure existed in this universe… perhaps, for now, she needed to just slow down for a moment.
Gazing across the first, Zriracha realized that she was along a varied mountain rage with rivers cut into the mountainsides like great chasms. Few roads marred this stretch of great nature but she could see a large temple that stood along the top of a peak greater than all others and decided that would be her destination. She expected to see life there, perhaps praying to gods of their faith, but the closer she came to the temple the clearer it became that it was abandoned. So long since abandoned that there was obvious evidence of infrastructure decay and vegetation overgrowth.
Zriracha sighed through her nose, hooves creaking against the dilapidated boards, “I suppose some alone time couldn’t hurt…” She hated how disappointed she sounded, her desire to meet with others outweighing the need for a change in scenery. With moments, she’d set up a little camp within the temple using her magic - books and tomes set up in various places as she’d continued her little study session to finish her spell.
She still needed the positive force of a Kai to finish her spell, but until such time… well, she could work on the other necessary tools. Laying along the ground, furry leg thrown over furry leg, Zriracha held a book high above her head as she read it with the most comically serious expression on her face she could muster… struggling to concentrate.
