Zriracha would have liked to have felt mollified by Russe finally recognizing her and even apologizing. However, as she felt her punch hit home, a startling amount of resistance was present that had her snarl in the shroud of mist before letting out a pained sound as fire burned her face. Shaking her head, the giant centaur seemed to only just barely avoid her eyes being burned in her face and huffed angrily, This strength reminds me of Kraktus! Yet, she was still ignorant to the amount of restraint Amara was exhibiting - even if it was in favor of attacking Russe! She responded to the apparent death threat with a derisive comment of her own, “Temper temper!” Before attempting to take a bit of the attention for herself by igniting her fist in a powerful pyre of black flames. “Don’t lose your focus!”
As she pulled her arm back, the air currents around seeming to suction in that direction, the only warning Amara would get before her arm surged forward was the impending wave of heat and the fog rushing away as Zriracha swung in the direction she scented the Stargoon. It was a simple attack but Zriracha wasn’t exactly a battle tactician, either.
With her power on full display and a form she didn’t often use, Zriracha was quickly using up power she didn’t have and would likely soon feel the consequences of over-estimating her own nefarious power. At this moment, however, grinning like a fool, the Demon was content to just languish in her power like a child with a new toy.
Using Blaze III (MA3) once more to try and gain aggro!
Russ anticipated such a response from an angry stargoon, it's not like he ever received kind words from Amara since the day they met, he is a hero, she is a villain..it was simple. A fight like this did not warrant any niceness on the field, people's lives are at stake today. "Wow, Harsh" the boy retorted in a mocking tone, not allowing himself to be fazed by her choice of words. That marks the end of his playful quipping for now, Amara is clearly not in the mood for such banter and is actively trying to get rid of him. It's best to figure out how to get around her tough defenses and land a good ol punch to the face, but it won't be easy.
The boy is experiencing de ja vu being pelted again with enraged continuos ki blast assault, this time Russ is defending himself by shooting continuous ki blasts of his own with a single palm of a hand, some shots clashed, others are going straight for Amara. raising the other arm to cover his face.
Ziriracha tried to calm Amara's temper and launch her own attack to draw Amara's attention, he prayed to kami the goon will allow him to breathe and focus on the demon instead. Why did he came here so quick to fight anyway? Wouldn't it be smart of him to fine tune his transformation before doing any hero work? Perhaps he can take the time to master the forms capabilities later, there is always room for improvement. He grew tired of being a ki blast sponge, it was time to fight back and end this. Without a word Russ increased his muscle mass again, dispersing the ki blasts away using Kiai. A golden orb created out of energy particles formed between both hands, a powerful energy wave fired at Amara intending to dish out a world of pain much as she did to him.

"Anger fuels us, didn't you know?" Amara snarled with a wicked grin. "I'm perfectly aware that you're open to attack me. Yet think about it logically..." Temporarily interrupted by the Demon's next attack, the Saiyan held a single arm out - suit whirring to life as it met the oncoming fist... and completely snuffed out all of the energy behind it, leaving Zriacha with the feeling that all her momentum and Ki had just stopped with no warning. The hiss of steam pervaded the air as Amara's suit cooled off from absorbing the attack so close to her own defensive power. "This is the smart move. Taking one of you out with a single powerful attack leaving me room to focus on the other instead of trying to fight a two-front battle? Heh." Russ had his own words to say though he had mostly quieted down after her snappy replies, obviously taking the hint that the other Saiyan was truly out for blood and not just a good time in this battle. His very precense undermined the purpose of the fight with Zriacha - to remove frustration. Yet maybe blowing away this blathering idiot in a fountain of energy would be just satisfying enough to satiate her for a while.
Her grin widened as Russ bulked up even further, defenses plummeting to a measly amount hardly above a million. She didn't even make an attempt to block the wave sent her way, reeling back a bit in the air as a trickle of blood ran down her cheek. Yet still the woman smiled, eyes blazing with feral delight. "Is that the best you can do?" She taunted at the boy, clearly not too worse from wear even if the Stargoon knew that attack did more than it let on. "At this rate you'd be better off fetching Carro and his pet to actually take me down rather than trying to do it yourself. Unless you can actually hit me for real, don't bother with it." Amara knew with her defenses she could handle another wave of attacks from the pair before her no matter what they did. It would take a miracle for Amara to get interrupted now before she finished and managed to fire off her attack. Speaking of which, the power swelling to near full within her signified that it was just about done. Nearly there...
Amara uses Short Circuit [SU1] to completely nullify Zriacha's Blaze III but takes the brunt of Russ' attack. Decently scuffed but nowhere near down.
HP-Supercell [SIG] gains an additional +33% and is now fully charged and will be fired during Amara's next post. Total PL of the attack is now 8,280,000 and the effects of the signature are as follows: PIERCING - Ignores 50% of an opposing barrier, DRILLING (Clash) - Ignores 25% of an opposing attack that attempts to clash with this SIG
Between her impassioned attack and Russ’ own power jumping to just beyond hers in an explosive show of muscle, Zriracha was listening with a keen ear to the words Amara spoke - the words seeming to ambiguously be directed at one or the both of them. Her attack struck true, until the sudden realization that the connection wasn’t indicative of a victory was made obvious by the sudden stopping power that gave the Demon’s shoulder a painful cramp, “Ugh!” Amara’s words felt louder in her head, the subsequent hiss of her own power vented through her suit sounding more like background noise as Zriracha glared down at Amara. The pause in combat, however small, was just what she needed to make some much-needed acknowledgements.
The power before her was nearly THREE times her own power and the knowledge of that alone was enough to have the centaur blood run cold, full stop. Next, while Russ was stronger than her in term of raw power, she could tell that he was going to struggle to take whatever Amara was dishing out and lastly - the scent of death that Zriracha had caught was unmistakable. Whatever had transpired between the two Saiyans was enough to not only disrupt their jovial fun, but inject a bit more chaos than the Demon had been desiring at the moment.
Now, it was the universe’ will against her own and most Demons knew better than to stick around. Negative energy began to sudden build, permeating off of her body as flames burst life against her horns. “We don’t need Carro for this,” She stated matter-of-factually, pulling from power she most CERTAINLY didn’t have in normal circumstances. She was banking on the blood lust accrued from not just her own incipient power but that of Amara’s negative desires as well. “However, if it’s a significant HIT you want-?!” The fist that was still held aloft in front of Amara would open suddenly. “Best you keep that aim locked on me for the moment!”
Before detonating the pinnacle of her power at point-blank range in front of Amara. Zriracha indulged no fantasies about a victory. If anything, she was banking on catching the woman off-guard more than anything so avoid Russ potentially dying because she wanted to let loose a little. She recalled the moment at the tournament so many months ago, the brief moment of clarity in her form allowing her a whimsical smile, Dying for you wasn't what I had in mind, but it's not a bad way to go. She thought with an off sense of detachment.
Zriracha is feeling Wrathful (+1x for one attack) and using negative energy, increasing the potency of Blazing Inferno (Sig) to clash with Amara's HP Supercell. Alas, the PL of this attack is merely 2,473,800 hahaha
Russ likely would've been satisfied with being strong enough to injure Amara, make her finally taste her own blood as punishment for her destructive crimes against Central City. But that small victory felt shallow...unearned, nothing warranted a peppy joke nor a jovial attitude, Amara is toying with him and he allowed himself to be played like a fiddle.
It was dumb luck he landed that shot to begin with, she could've raised her defenses to block it, or stopped his attack with her own. Now he is forced to endure her condescending taunts, a terrible reward for being too weak to finish her off. It was indeed everything he had put into his attack and that's what makes her words cut deeper than a knife, they spoke truth and he couldn't back it up. "Besides, I don't have the president on speed dial, he's a busy man" adding to Ziriacha's defiance on relying Carro for help. Some more assistance would be nice but he is confidant they can bring Amara down if they work together.
There is vital information to learn from his ineffectual strategy, observing Amara's sluggish movements and the amount of damage she took, he learned the weakness of using Ultra Super Saiyan for long term battles, the form is indeed more powerful than the average super saiyan, but your defense take a nose dive in exchange for more power. He will stick with empowering himself with power ball and find a way to master the form without the need of being bulky.
Ziriracha charged ahead and attacked on her own, Russ stayed back to catch his breath, using that much energy is taxing on the body. It was still bothering him why Amara allowed herself to get hurt, all the other times she blocked or decimated Ziriacha's attacks like they were nothing. Whatever Amara is up to is worrisome, Russ is having a strange feeling something is coming and its not good. "Zee..WAIT!" extending a hand out to her, watching the demon put herself in a potentially dangerous situation being so close to Amara.

The Saiyan was silent as Zriacha lunged forward, the Demon's palm outstretched as an umistakable build up power was felt. It rose higher and higher, above what Amara though her opponent would be capable of entirely... yet it wasn't enough. Looking on with a grimace as a wellspring of heat and Ki started to surge forth, it looked as if the woman would be entirely engulfed by the attack... but when all was said and done, the distinctive sound of a zanzoken brought Amara much closer to Russ - fully ignoring Zriacha's strongest attack in a magnificent burst of speed. "That was pretty good," She commented idly, eyes locked on her true target. "You caught me off guard for a second there with that surge. For that I commend you. But now it's time to finally remove this pesky fly from our airspace."
With cold, calculating cruelty Amara unleashed the entirety of her signature attack all at once, the raw destructive power enough to kill Russ six times over - and enough to cause the rubble around them to vaporize from the sheer amount of energy coursing from Amara's body. It it had been aimed directly at the city, there'd be no doubt that the entirety of it would be nothing more than dust. Luckily (or perhaps unluckily for him) it was aimed directly at Russ instead, a surge of malice aiming to cause as much pain as possible. Potentially even killing him outright if he couldn't withstand the sheer might of it. "Do me a favor, and die." Were her presumably parting words to the regularly blue-haired hybrid.
Amara uses a Short Circuit [SU1] like a normal person to dodge Zriacha's Blazing Inferno without a scratch.
HP-Supercell is fired at Russ for 8,280,000 potential damage carrying the effects previously stated.
She heard his call and could feel the terror in his voice as he demanded that she hold on her assault; she would not. Not only was she certain the Amara would be perfectly fine, Zriracha was determined to be considered more than just a pest to this woman. Yet, as fate would have it, this stargoon was much more resourceful - and single-minded - than the Demon had given her credit for. The impact that Zriracha was expecting from the explosion was not felt and even worse - she only barely scented Amara farther away from only after the woman had spoken. Whirling around, her giant form so much more burdensome than it was before, Zriracha watched as Amara aimed her attack straight at Russ.
The power singing with dastardly delight as it made the Saiyan it’s target. NO! He wasn’t even supposed to BE here! Her conscience screamed at her. Her emotions quickly rushed from one to the next, as if she were experiencing all five stages of grief before Russ had even taken the attack. Astonishment, fear, regret, rage - until finally it settled on one that had her moving faster than any god-forsaken-demon should ever move.
Vengeance. Russ wasn’t as close to her as family was but there was one demon-like trait that Zriracha couldn’t detach from no matter how wonderful life on Earth was:
She despised it when her possessions were destroyed. Even if they could come back to life.
Disappearing in a wave of water-like fire that twist and turned in the air with a life of it’s own, Zriracha’s form would suddenly appear in front of Russ - her size no longer the bumbling behemoth as her body condensed to that of a diminutive ten feet her previous form appeared as. A clawed grip snatched the wrist just before the attack would go off, Zriracha’s words snarled in the woman’s face as she made her intention to take the attack beyond clear.
From a relatively safe distance, Ticoga watches the mighty battle unfold with a sinister grin. So far, he had been ignored, and for this time at least he is grateful. His advanced scouter helps him keep track of the superior warriors, allowing him to study each of them in turn. The new arrival, the other Super Saiyan, was clearly struggling to really make a difference.
Amara was a spectacle to witness. Holding off two incredibly powerful foes... Is this the power he hoped to unlock? ...No, this was just a preview of the beginning. He would reach, and blow far past these levels. But, incredibly, Zriracha was trying to hold back a blast meant for the lesser Super Saiyan.
"Interesting, Lady Zriracha." Ticoga mutters, looking over at Russ. "This one must mean something to you then."
Perhaps this was one of the beings she called her friends; a person Zriracha threatened to kill Ticoga over if he were to ever lay a hand on them. But this battle was so far beyond his capabilities, that all he could do for now was bear witness. It made no difference to him if the lesser Super Saiyan was killed - but it would complicate his presence on the Earth.
His suspicions are corroborated as danger was imminent, it took form of a royally pissed-off Amara preparing her trump card. Ziriracha's muscle mass energy wave combination didn't land a scratch on the stargoon, she just..blitzed right past it and aimed her incoming shot at a stiffened Russ. A stimulating wave of fear cut off access to the windpipe, that bold of confidence left his body with haste, it is uncertain if it will ever return anytime soon.
Shit.Shit Shit Shit Shit.SHIT mentally cursed like a broken record, being this close in blast range without a failsafe poured sweat around the forehead and cheek, he is going to die and he never got to accomplish all he wanted to do in life. Never got to tell his friends goodbye... An unprecedented move happened before his eyes as Ziriracha decided to risk her life to save him. "Ziriracia, what are you DOING!? That was for me DAMNT!" she was not supposed to go down with him, Amara is angry for her part in creating the Super Saiyan within Russ, his presence here make things worse. If he hadn't selfishly picked a fight with the stargoon, Ziriracha wouldn't have gotten hurt... it's all his fault...
The inactive arcosion acknowledged Russ triggered Ziriracha's attachment for the boy, it was a good question. What did Russ mean for Ziriracha? What did Ziriacha mean for Russ? Let's find out. The powerful energy wave engulfed them both, pain doesn't even BEGIN to describe this feeling, the ground crumbled and vanished beneath their feet, or they were sent flying it's hard to tell. A loud roar coming from Russ has been muffed by the ear-deafening sound of death, in a final act of heroism the hybrid grabbed hold of Ziriracha to keep her from splitting away. "I got you..." He used his bulking muscle mass to shield her the best way he could, it wouldn't do much good for them in the end, they were likely to cease from the eyes of the public, and end up somewhere in a non-disclosed location. Well..at least he achieved Super Saiyan, probably the only accomplishment he made in his laundry of mistakes.
Zirirach's valiant effort to save him is in vain, Russ received [SIG] HP Supercell in bleedtrhough damage. Russ is defeated

With a huff, Amara released all her pent-up power, form fizzling out as her hair faded back to a natural black as the Saiyan stared off in the direction both Zriacha and Russ had been launched. Why the Demon had thought she could take that without even using a defensive technique was beyond her, but this was the result. Had Amara put any true killing intent into the attack it was likely the both of them would've been vaporized to ash, but as it stood they would likely be fine after some recovery time. "Tch," She scoffed audibly. Russ ignored her warnings, so this is what he got. How foolish of him to think that becoming a Super Saiyan would be enough to challenge her in the slightest. At the very least this entire encounter did its job well, Amara no longer felt a need to destroy anything else. Her eyes closed for a moment, homing in on Ticoga's energy signature and flying over to the Arcosian in a flash. "...Entertaining enough?" She asked, arms folded over her chest. "I'm sure that gave you a good gauge on my power... and probably only further fueled your ambitions to gain and surpass it." A smile ghosted across the woman's lips, unsure. "Just remember to point your rage in the correct direction. Russ had it coming, but I hadn't accounted for that damned Demon hopping in the way. Had she not, Russ probably would be dust."
An annoying thought. Amara should've been angrier at Zriacha for denying her the kill on the blue-haired menace, but she wasn't. "If you're still interested in joining up, meet me at the Tsubari-Tsumari Mountains in a few days' time. You'll be joined by another prospective recruit where I'll test your full abilities firsthand. If you're not, this is where we part ways." The Saiyan paused for a moment, eyes lingering on the destruction around them. "And while you saying no won't sour or relationship, trust me being a Stargoon also means a lot of headaches, don't expect to exactly get special treatment by the rest of the gang even if I personally don't want to see you get atomzied, capiche?" After all, their entire mission included keeping their family safe first and foremost, alongside committing acts of evil. If Ticoga didn't become sworn in and take the plunge of an official Stargoon, he'd be considered collateral just like everyone else. "Until then." Amara turned, waiting just long enough to hear any final words from the Arcosian before flying off into the distance.
Pain was all that Zriracha understood in that moment, ignoring Russ’ cries as the blast impacted against her body - instantly burning her fur and skin in various places with all the intensity of what felt like a thousand suns. She’d known pain before; was no stranger to it’s abrasive nature, yet to compare the raw power that assailed her body at the moment-? There was no equal. Fangs gnashed, trying to withstand that mind-melting sensation before she was soon blown backwards and on a certain collision-course - her form losing cohesion as her howls echoed through the area until it faded to silence. The sensation of falling and crashing somewhere unknown and isolated was hardly felt as her nerve-endings had been burnt so thoroughly.
With what little consciousness that remained, Zriracha’s now Satyr form that was littered with deep third-degree wounds and split skin that would have grossed out anyone, she realized that someone had been with her the entire time. Arms around her body that she could scarcely feel remained, keeping her in place as she breathed slowly in and out. One of her eyes had been burnt shut, but the Satyr paid no mind to the potentially permanent injury.
Painfully, her lips crooked upwards on one side as she realized the words Russ had said and weakly laughed, “And I… y-you… friend.” Before a loud groan ripped from her throat, the difficulty of speaking much more burdensome than she had expected. With a scoff of laughter, Zriracha allowed her eyes to close - not realizing just how close to death she nearly came.
At long last, the battle was over, with Amara standing tall. Overcoming her opponents was quite impressive, and Ticoga learned quite a bit about all involved. Soon enough, Amara appears near him, quite pleased with herself.
"Oh yes, this was a most enjoyable thing to witness, Lady Amara." Ticoga replies to her offhanded query. "I imagine my understanding of your power is limited even still. There was much a time where I was not able to quite track you - your speed and theirs dwarf my own, after all. As for rage - I feel none at all. These beings both knew what they were getting into - I have no emotional investment in this result."
Ticoga listens to Amara's next words and smiles.
"I will most certainly endeavor to arrive there." he replies with a short bow of his head. "I have every reason to take advantage of your investment. I look forward to working with you going forward. Good day, for now, Lady Amara."
Only once Amara had gone, did Ticoga move again. He descends through the air, and lands lightly on his three toed feet, only a meter or so from where Zriracha and the Super Saiyan had landed. Odd though, this Saiyan had blue hair. A Hybrid, perhaps? Clasping his hands behind his back, Ticoga looks them over with a quizzical expression. Amara had more than enough power, and motive, to finish these two off. Yet, inexplicably, left without doing so. Perhaps Amara didn't see a reason to do so?
And if not, did she have a motive to leave them alive? Ticoga approaches them for a closer look - Zriracha appears to have lost consciousness. The other one - Russ, Amara called him - it was hard to say. He could still be conscious. In fact, if they were going to be his enemies in the future, perhaps it would be best to kill them here and now, while they were weakened?
"...No, I don't think that the proper course." Ticoga mutters to himself. It wouldn't be sufficient; they were no threat to him as they are, and they may not end up being his enemies in the future. Zriracha had already proven the latter point in how she interacted with him previously. Ticoga reaches up to his scouter, and keys the communication button. "Marma, please send a recovery team to my location; two stretchers, and basic first aid. I have two warriors who need tending to."
There is a muffled affirmation, and Ticoga turns the communication off. He watches over the two until eight of his vessel's crew members appear with the requested equipment. They administer the first aid, focusing on Zriracha more due to her injuries, and then set Russ and Zriracha on the stretchers. Ticoga leads the way back to the Direption, his flagship, where the two would be placed in the ship's infirmary...
And that's my exit
