When the powerful resistance of her cranium connected with something, Zriracha was just vaguely aware that she hadn’t managed to clash her head with his and shook her horns, giving a soft scoff in response, “We can’t all be as refined with our battle tactic-OoooWHOA!” Caught off guard and unawares, Zriracha’s felt herself pushed forward at such a fast speed that she barely had a chance to respond. However, seeing a unique chance, the Demon would grin opportunistically before pushing her hooves into the ground and arranging herself just before impact. Instead of her head, however, Zriracha held her fist in one hand and pulled her arm back - aiming a sharp elbow straight away into Derrick’s sternum. Successful or not, though she was hoping her and Aurora’s impromptu double-team would ensure the hit, Zriracha followed through the rest of her momentum with a half-baked roll before sliding along the ground. As the scent of magic caught her attention, Zriracha looked up just in time to see a barrage of ice come at her before she sucked in a breath, a swirl of black flames coming out to melt the ice coming her before it could connect. Huffing a plume of smoke from her nostrils, Zriracha complimented the Arcosian, “You fight well and your magic is unique, but you’ll both find that in the realm of magic-” She slammed her hand on the ground, a massive ruin in the form of circle burning into the sands. Her voice echoed, as if from all directions as the sands around them seemed to rush up from the ground and form what could only be described as a maze - heights stretching higher and higher until it felt like they could stretch forever into the sky. I am much more than extraordinary! With her stage set using her Magic Materialization, Zriracha would allow herself a moment to catch her breath before moving through the maze herself to observe the two fighting amongst themselves. When her time to strike came - she would be ready, moving between the illusion in the hopes they wouldn’t realize how incorporeal they were. Aurora Arctos

Aurora couldn't help but be somewhat impressed with the power and control that Zriracha and Derry displayed respectively. The titanic maze that surrounded them was a scale of magic that not even she had been able to pull out just like that. Even when she froze over half of Bepis, that had taken the pooling of a lot of resources and a lot of time to prepare. And yet the demon had shown a capability of pulling such magics out on the fly, which Aurora found herself rather interested in. Was that racial, or special to only her? She had stated competency in the magical arts, but the demons were known to be a particularly magical race... Hm. This warranted more investigation. Right now, though... Derry was staring her down, a variety of floating fireballs around him. Those thing swere rather hot, and judging by the literal line of fire in the sand, he was ready for an Assault by the Arcosian. well then. She was more than willing to provide.
Raising her hands high above her head, Aurora began to float into the air, careful not to touch the walls of this maze just yet. She wasn't sure if it was potentially harmful to do so, and it was best to err on the side of caution. Floating back, Aurora's face contorted into a frown of effort as an icicle appears in her hands. And grows bigger. And bigger. And bigger. And bigger. A titanic thing of jagged black and blue ice, vaguely sharp but closer to a miniature iceberg. It was the strongest Aurora could conjure at the moment, with her reduced power, but if Derry wanted a test? She was happy to oblige. "CATCH!" She calls out to him, both arms coming forward as if to throw the giant construct towards the man, which sailed slowly over her head and rapidly gained speed towards the man. If he wanted a test, she would happily provide him one. In the meantime... Aurora brought a hand up to the scouter on her eyes, red pupil darting all of a sudden as she moved throughout the confines of the maze. Where was she... Ah ha. "Found you." She murmurs to herself, locking on to Zriracha's power level using the device. She may not bbe able to see the demon, nor reach her physically, but that didn't mean Aurora couldn't still affect her.
Following the beacon provided, Aurora called upon her magic ones more top create spikes of jagged ice to appear in the air and slash at the demon with blunt tips, as well as entire blocks of the material intended to pin her down. She was firing blindly, but what she lacked in accuracy the Arcosian more than made up in sheer quantity.

It was due to Derry's quick thinking that he narrowly avoids taking a devastating blow from Zriracha, who was able to recover from Aurora's push mid-air. Though he was forced to fall onto his back to avoid the blow aimed at his chest, Derry rolls away to gain distance between both the demon and arcosian. Zriracha's strategies weren't exactly elegant, but she was very quick to improvise and make the best of just about any situation she's in. Once Derry's defensive preparations were made, sand all around him and everyone else started to shoot up towards the sky. These new sand walls seemed to stretch on forever and forever, making Derry wonder if this was actually Zriracha just manipulating the sand and hardening it or if this was some kind of illusion. Either way, Derry avoids making contact with the walls in case there was some other trick to these walls. As Derry takes in the scene around him, he notes that the only one visible to him was Aurora, and it seems Zriracha has disappeared elsewhere in this labyrinth.
"You know, when it comes to sparring, you're supposed to hit your opponents, not do... whatever the hell this is!" Derry jokes loudly as he looks back at Aurora, feeling ready for what's to come. Aurora reaches into the sky and begins to gather a bunch of ice, creating an icicle that was growing bigger and bigger by the second. Derry stands firm, eyes wide at the sheer size of the icicle, looking more like an iceberg at this point. Aurora launches the giant piece of ice at the Stargoon, and it was at this point where Derry realizes that it's too late to avoid such a massive attack. However, he is also aware that he doesn't have any attacks that were neither strong enough to counter it or a shield to fully block it. Oh well, it was better to at least shield as much as he could instead of taking the blow head on. Derry raises up his Flame Shield in response to the incoming icicle, only for it to be broken almost immediately. The attack still hit Derry, but he at least reduced as much damage to himself as he could.
Now somewhat wet and his forearms slightly frozen, Derry looks around for Aurora, only to see her conjuring up more ice not for him, but for Zriracha. Derry has no idea where the demon was since he left his scouter sunglasses behind on the glass base, and it would be difficult to find in this kind of environment. If the Pink Stargoon wants to throw down with Zriracha, he'll have to rely on Aurora revealing her location. While Aurora is busy tossing more and more ice towards Zriracha's general location, Derry takes this opportunity to conjure more and more fireballs, with some of them merging into each other to create even larger fireballs. If Aurora just ignores Derry for just a bit longer, Derry will be able to launch a Fireball attack against the arcosian as payback for earlier.

Her voice echoed with amused mocking in response to Derry’s joke, To victory goes the resourceful, I’m afraid! As the two fought within the maze she’d created, Zriracha would chuckle softly to herself as she made to recup her magic reserves. She was impressed that they didn’t seem that bothered with the illusion - even less inhibited by the walls that towered above them like gods. Zriracha had hoped they would be at least intimidated by the potential lack of escape. Keeping a calm head is quite impressive, even if it won’t- In the midst of her thoughts, certain that she was hidden away from the prying eyes and safe from any confrontation for the moment, Zriracha wasn’t expecting a retaliation - and most certainly not from ice nearly beheading her as they appeared scant inches from her face. “Shit!” She cursed, red eyes wide with shock as she floated back from the attack. That was close! How did she know where I was?! Struggling to wrap her brain around an explanation, Zriracha didn’t avoid the next wave of actual blocks made to pin her down to the ground. With a loud shout of pain, the Demon was flattened completely onto her belly with fangs gnashed in a struggle to lift them off of her. “Arrrhhhgg! Tch,” She scoffed, feeling her strength lacking with her magic reserves nearly emptied. She grinned, a vein popping out from her temple as she snarled, “Trickery well-played...”
However, she wasn’t out of the game just yet. With a roar, location no doubt already revealed, Zriracha would release a wave of black fire in Aurora’s direction as a means to distract her rather than try and seriously injure the Arcosian. Should it have succeeded, the Demon would angle her head and force powerful magic into her horns - a pyre of black flames igniting just above their tips before she slammed her head back to aim a powerful black of said flames at the ice block. With it melted, Zriracha hopped back to her hooves and threw out her hand to summon a singular jagged short sword. “If illusions won’t distract you two while you compare elemental reactions-” She rushed toward Aurora, hopeful that it would be HER turn to enjoy a little double-teamed action, “-we’ll just be a LOT more direct about it!” Upon approach, Zriracha would slash in a various many directions as she aimed for non-lethal areas to hopefully destroy the woman’s mobility. Outer Thigh, the inside of her elbows - even her shoulder tendons to cut off arm movements. Aurora Arctos
