The year is 59ABY (After Battle of Yavin), and the return of the Corellian Union sent the galaxy reeling. The Imperial Order, New Republic, Hutt Cartel, and Mandalorians all fell to the Corellian Union's fleets. At threat of being victimized by the reactivated Centerpoint Station, the galaxy accepted their new masters.
The Jedi, disillusioned by the New Republic's previous wars with the returned Sith Empire and Mandalorians, retreated to their worlds of Dantooine and Tython after the Jedi Temple on Coruscant was obliterated by a Mandalorian Orbital bombing. With their absence, the Sith Empire which had been left in shambles after their defeat, worm their way into control of the Corellian Union. But not all has gone according to plan; a rogue Sith, secretly hell bent on destroying the current Sith Order so he may replace it with his own, has risen to challenge the Union.
Surviving warships and officers of the New Republic and Imperial Order have been manipulated into serving this upstart Sith Lord, and formed the New Galactic Empire, determined to defeat the Corellian Union. Now on the cusp of a final push into Corellian Space, the New Galactic Empire secures its holdings as a new threat strikes from beyond the Unknown Regions.
The galaxy spirals into greater darkness, as two Sith-led monolith powers prepare for a final engagement, while the Jedi seem to have lost touch with the greater galaxy.
But how will YOU affect this galaxy? Will you be the Jedi that leads the charge against the Dark Side? Will you become an Imperial Knight, determined to cut down any and all threats to the New Galactic Empire? Will you be a hidden Sith, waiting in the shadows to act on your opportunities? A Bounty Hunter just making your way in the galaxy? Or will you rise up with the oppressed, and reform the New Republic to stand as a bastion of galactic democracy?
