Thaw stood with bold confidence as he was walking down the aisle of his House. House Moroz, a high class Royal family of arcosians who have made their way of living deceiving the lower clans and using them in order to make their own House feared and well known for their dirty tactics and overall greed. It wasn't hidden information that even enslaved arcosians were present within the Palace. He had reached his definition, where King Moroz looked upon his son and since he was the coming age of thirteen, he was considered a full fledge 'adult' arcosian. He stood with pride and accepted the crown from his Father, officially giving him the crown and changing his title from Prince and now he was named King. As the ceremony was dying down, the gossip started to erupt. A few notable House were present, House Iglu, which conducts the business of gambling throughout Planet Arcose and House Grad that conducts the local police force for Planet Arcose. The Advisors of both those families were present, both lesser being arcosians and both slender in nature with a rather unique choice of fashion, dawning oversized robes and jewelry on their faces. House Igu's advisor had looked to the other and simply smirked. "House Moroz is quite strange wouldn't you say?" The House Grad Advisor had shifted his eyes to his competitor and let out a sly smirk as he drank his wine. "Are you referring to their choice of arrangements." "My my, you seem to know my thoughts like an open book?" Igu had scuff "I believe we all were thinking it. House Moroz tends to go by old traditions that we have long time abandoned. Though most royals tend to stick to this flawed system." House Grad smirked. "I will have to agree with you on that one, age thirteen is too young for an arcosian to rule. The years are clearly inexperience on paper and what they have to show. Age thirty would have been the most appropriate don't you think?" House Igu folded his arms. "Even so, the King clearly knows what he is doing. He isn't like most that just lets their child rule over the House by themselves."Advisor Grad kept his arms to his chin. "I believe time will tell." House Igu kept his arms to his back. After the ceremony had ended, Thaw was back in the throne room and his father had arrived minutes later. King Moroz kept his arms to his back and stared at his son. "What did you think about the Houses that came today?" "They all looked at me like I wasn't a King. They may have appeared to look genuine about my title, but I could see right through their deceitful eyes." Moroz had chuckled and shook his head. "You know my son, I was just like you when I was your age. However, I made a great decision after my injury." He saw his own reflection in the chalice he held with his right metal forearm. "Confidence and power is one way to go about, or Patience and Tactics is the other." Thaw looked to his father with a curious stare. "What did you end up going with?" Moroz chuckled and lightly tapped his son's shoulder as he called it a night. "The youth can bless you and curse you at the same time." His father had called it a night and Thaw just kept thinking what kind of ruler he could be for his House.

Thaw was brought to his first council meeting, standing next to him would be his towering brute sized father who kept his arms rested on the arm chairs of his towering oversized chair. House Grad's King was present, with King Grad speaking up with his hands folded together.
"Thaw, I understand that you have brought my House here for a possible change for the city."
Thaw kept his back straight and his hands together.
"I have discuss terms with the military of Arcose, and I believe we should grant them the power to run our cities."
King Grad would have broken the table in two if it wasn't for his father's presence. He still couldn't believe that a child would be given the title of King. He truly didn't like the old ways, and he kept his cool for now.
"You want the military protecting our cities? But House Moroz has always been the neutral party and has never messed with Galactic affairs or Domestic... Your House has mainly focus on the constructions of buildings and transportation."
"Yes and as much as I have appreciated your House and their services, our transportations and construction of building have been put on constant delays for months now. Nothing has been done about it with your House and with the saiyans and even the tuffles causing chaos and all this war. Our services can't help other nations who want to grow and i'm afraid your House just can't be everywhere and aren't big enough."
King Grad had stood up in a frustrated matter as he flipped the table and pointed his finger at him.
"JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE! YOUR HOUSE HAS NEVER BEEN INVOLVED WITH POLITICS! THERE IS A REASON WE HAVE NEW TRADITIONS IN PLACE AND NOT THE OLD."
Thaw's father had given King Grad a death stare, not even bothering himself with getting up. King Grad had felt the aura coming from Thaw's Father and sat back down. Thaw had raised himself up from his chair and kept his arms to his side.
"I appreciate your concern, but my word is final. Expect your House to do other task for the City."
Thaw had left and his father had joined him by his side. He was nervous and kept his eyes to the ground. His father took notice and smirked.
"A King should never show fear, keep your eyes ahead."
"Do you think I made the right choice? Changing our House's neutral political stance to a Military stance and not a Domestic one?"
Moroz looked to his son and then ahead as their royal guards had followed behind them.
"The old tradition has always stuck with the military aspect, the new generation tends to stick with domestic affairs and not really wanting to conquer planets. I cannot tell you if you made the right decision for our House. But what I can tell you, is that I will stand by your decision and teach you along the way. You are a King and as King, you have made a politic change. Which means you will be meeting with the Emperor soon."

Thaw had arrived at the emperors estate, which was the largest on Arcose in the main city and the most heavily guarded. He sat within the council chambers and about that time, the emperor had shown up, old in age and wise beyond his years.
"I'm glad you have accepted my invitation. As a new King for your House and a changed political affiliation, you have shown quite the backbone on where your allegiance stands."
"If I may ask, where do you stand on the political side?"
The emperor looked to the young arcosian as he coiled his tail around his hover chair.
"As emperor I have remained more neutral than actually being on a side. We both need the new and the old to come together for a greater change. Internal conflicts have never worked out and the Tuffles and Saiyans aren't making our lives any easier. Now since you have picked a side, there is a set of rules you must govern."
Thaw waited patiently, curious at what the emperor would say.
"Your House will have military presence. So normally you will be working along side several Captains of our military. So if there were an invasion that were to arrive in your estate, they will be there to protect you. As you know, the saiyans and tuffles tend to attack galactic Houses and don't really tend to attack Domestic unless there is a heavy military presence there. You will be on a 24/7 watch, I recommend you to have One Captain with you at all times or two Lieutenants. As for a pointed advisor, I would advise one that is within our ranks and no one foreign."
He was mainly talking about brenchian, Zarbon race, or Dodoria's race to serve under him as an advisor.
"The advisor will your public figure when you aren't around. If you don't have anymore questions, I will have you sign this and we can get your House started."
Thaw had signed the proper documents and after that was over with, he was now back in his own estate where military presence was now more involved and Thaw meeting his Captain that would work under him. It would be a slightly darker blue zarbon race member with slick hair that was combed back that was a light faded purple.
"King Thaw, I am happy to make my arrival here at your estate."
"Thank you Captain, now I was told that you would inform me of what is currently happening."
"Yes sire, currently the Saiyans and Tuffles are currently fighting on numerous planets as we speak. The closest planet that is near us is Planet Kroom. With your upgraded task force of transportation crews and building constructing. We can develop small recon areas on that planet to spy on them and also set up a strong task force to prevent a complete take over of the planet sire."
"What would you recommend on the funds that should be distributed?"
"I would recommend more than half, considering that we need this job to be done within a week."
"Excellent, I will take care of that today."
The captain nodded and left the room, standing outside as a guard for the King. Meanwhile his advisor, being a crimson red dodorian member had arrived.
"Greeting King Thaw, I have arrived today to advise you of the current state affairs on a local level."
"Yes, I am listening advisor."
"Currently our finances are rather cut short due to the upkeep in military spendings. I suggest sending any forces that are available to pillage local planets that are nearby to increase your funds. There are several locals on those planets that don't support our military and are in support of the saiyans or the tuffles at the moment. My suggestion would be to send either three Sgts , or two Lts to take care of it. As far as the local problems with the other Houses, I have given them donations to support your cause my King."
"Excellent work."
The advisor nodded and had left the room. About that time, Thaw's father had shown up and met with Thaw in the balcony.
"How was the meeting with the emperor?"
"All went well, I received an advisor and a Captain to aide me in my affairs both domestic and galactic."
"That is to be expected but remember Thaw, take their advise with a grain of salt, most of the times they will exploit the funds and get more than is needed. It can lead to many assassins being hired to take you out. Every King knows this and hopefully that day won't ever come for you."
"Have you had assassins come after you?"
"Of course, my right arm just showcases that. Be careful now, this world is full of opportunist."

Thaw's operation had started, with the aid of his small military forces along with the set up a several camps made within Planet Kroom, it made it enough for them to obtain intel on the region along with how many other camps and outpost that the tuffles and saiyans lay claim too. Thaw sat at the council table once again, only this time House Iglu had arrived and spoke with him.
"King Thaw, I would like to propose a business deal with your House." King Iglu had stated this, as he had his Captain hold a brief case in his hand.
"Go on."
"Your House is responsible responsible for outside sources now. I understand that you would need more funds to help further your cause, unless you want to go down the path of conquering planets. Your House isn't known for that, which sees that the vision you have isn't of the old ways."
Thaw had stared at him with a confident yet curious stare.
"I may not have the old world view kept in a traditional sense, since I am of the newer generation, I tend to keep myself open in terms of politics and not directly by the book like the other Houses."
"I understand that you want to keep with newer tradition, I also don't rely on the military for support. I use the local forces and even mercenaries to aid my House. Probably the only reason why the newer generation tends to stick with old traditions is because of the low count in their clan family or just lower Household count. Whatever your reasons for it doesn't concern me, however, I want to make a deal with your House regarding a split share of my funds, in return, I would like your House to construct me another casino."
Thaw had calmly looked at the King and kept his serious stare true and unfazed.
"As much as I respect your House and the spies you have all around you. Let me remind you that an army doesn't make the House, its the clan within those Houses that you should be in fear of. My House is known throughout Planet Arcose as a force not to be messed with. Whether it's against an army or just one man. I know that you know who my father is. As for your business deal, you know that I don't have enough resources to provide domestic politics anymore."
"In all fairness Thaw, your House before your ruling was a neutral state and providing more local support than a galactic one. Your father also owes me several casinos that was promised and never made due to outside problems."
"I don't care what my father owes you, I am King now and I have new terms in place."
"Do you really want a civil war between our Houses? I came here trying to see if you would want to work with me like your father had done so in the past."
"Your money was returned to you, so i'm not sure why you believe that he owes you anything. My suggestion would be for you to get outside sources to help you, or perhaps another House."
"Everyone knows your House deals in this department and all others would just drastically increase the cost due to it not being their field of work."
"I gave you my answer and if you really think a civil war is necessary then try it. I have the military on my side and any House who attacks the military becomes an enemy and a traitor. So I suggest you choose your words carefully."
King Iglu had raised from his seat and stared Thaw down.
"There is a reason why the newer generation was formed."
King Iglu had walked away and the statement had referred to the age being more appropriate for a thirty year old King than a thirteen year old one. As he left, Thaw just sat there and waited a bit, his father had arrived.
"How is everything coming along with King Iglu?"
"He talks about a potential civil war."
"Many Houses have been wiped out due to civil wars, specially those who don't have the military backing them. Thread lightly, as much protection as you have, even Kings who work with the military have seen an early grave."
Thaw listens to his father's advice, wondering what he will do next.

Thaw just got done with a conference meeting, his father had now walked in with a towering presence and sitting upon his gigantic size throne compared to his sons that was smaller in size.
"How did it go Thaw?"
"So far we have made military House allies with the Smegs, Klaw, and Vinograd."
"As much allies you have acquired, it just means more enemies at your doorstep. There is a reason why royal families have always been tight nit in the past as far as relations have gone. Trust is the dividing factor that we have seen time and time again. Why do you think more powerful Houses don't get involve with politics? It's due to the mistrust we tend to have with one another."
"Are you afraid of the other Houses attacking us?"
Thaw father had let out a calm chuckle.
"Quite the opposite, other Houses are afraid of me attacking. You ever wondered why I gave you the title of King son?"
"I have always wondered father."
"Other Houses never wanted to form an alliance with mine due to how I have handled situations in the past. They feared that I would wipe out their House if they ever crossed me. I gave you the title, so that you could develop an alliance with them over time. Selfish as it may look, there are still rules since you're a King. And they know it to be the case. If a former King involved himself in the political affairs with the new King, it would make that House a direct target for mistrust. Ultimately, involving our own military and that is what I fear. Thats why I haven't involved myself with your decision making."
"Do you believe that I can rule this House without you?"
"Age has never been a factor of the 'old' ways, a child could rule as King and no one would complain except for perhaps the peasants. I do believe you can rule without me. It's the newer generation that will disagree with it ultimately. No matter what decisions you decide to make, I will always be there with you. I won't be able to protect you forever, which is why I want you to come with me."
They then left the throne room and now was at the training grounds and each of them wore the clothes for fencing and the swords that came with it.
"What is all this father?"
"Learning to fight is one thing, learning to defend yourself is another. As much skill as I have taught you to fight offensively, it comes down to training yourself in defense."
As the two trained for hours upon hours, Thaw was far more exhausted than his father.
"Excellent work Thaw, you made a few mistakes but every day that passes, those mistakes will cut down less and less, get some sleep. We have important things to discuss tomorrow. "

Thaw sat upon his throne, just in idle today from boredom as soldier after soldier had came before him.
"Sire, the established camps and the dire situation from planet kroom has been success on our part. The tuffle has retreated due to the defeat that they had received from the saiyans. We now outrank the saiyans by a large margin."
Thaw curled his index finger and placing it underneath his bottom lip, while in his other hand he carried with him a glass of wine.
"Destroy them."
The soldier had bowed and left, being the last soldier to report a status. After the soldier left, Thaw's father had entered the room and naturally towered over his son.
"How did the latest reports go?"
"The tuffles left planet Kroom and we had the opportunity to invade them due to outnumbering them. So I decided for them to attack."
"Did you asset the combat level of each saiyan?"
Thaw was clueless at this point and had awkwardly answer.
"N....no... but our forces-"
Thaw's father had sighed and kept his arms to his back now.
"Come with me."
Thaw had followed right behind him and the both of them were now in a room filled with party guest and a gigantic cake. Thaw was rather confused and spoke with his father.
"Father I don't understand, what is all this?"
"Good luck."
Thaw's father had vanished and now Thaw was all alone. His father had severely reduced his power level to a combat level of 1, and watched his son on the high balcony in the shadows. Thaw had looked confused at first, so many people were here and he wasn't sure what he was suppose to do or even look for. Thaw had looked for key marks and there he had spotted it, a throne chair across the hallway which was made for him. So he had went over there and sat on the chair, exhaling a sigh of relief for the most part. He scanned the room and about that time, a blue brenchian with square glasses had approach him from the left side, holding a clip board.
"Excuse me sire, your father has appointed me as your assistant for this event. Many nobles will be attending. This event is in honor of their names so that. you can grow your House."
"I see..."
Thaw had sensed an unusual high power level coming off from this assistant. Though it wasn't as high as one of his Captain's power level but it was indeed close. An anger mob group had suddenly appeared, two towering kabochans and a red brenchian that was muscular in size. Thaw had gotten up from his chair and looked to the anger mob with a death stare. One of the kabochan's had shouted.
"I'm wondering why we weren't invited into this event!"
Thaw had kept his finger to his chin and looked up at this bulky man.
"What House do you serve?"
The three of them had ignored his question and went straight for an offensive attack. This had caught Thaw off guard and he leaned back ready for anticipation as three of them tried attacking him. The clipboard from his assistant had dropped and a concealed dagger had come forth and Thaw was quick to coil his tail around the wrist of his assistant, causing him to drop the dagger and with a light twirl, throwing him into the mob group. The three of them falling back from the sudden maneuver and Thaw quickly executed the four of them with a straight beam to their chest. The party lights had faded, the bright lights were now on. And now the four bodies he had executed had now risen up to their feet. Thaw's father had arrived beside his son and lightly patted him on his back.
"Good work, you passed."
Thaw looked to his father slightly confused.
"What do you mean I passed?"
"You all can go now."
The party goers had left the room, along with the four assassins as Thaw's father gave them a stare. It wasn't that many people for a party but with the dark atmosphere and party lights, it was more than enough to fool anyone. Thaw's father had looked to his son with a smirk. "The lesson I have taught you today was to always stay on your toes no matter what event you are in. Those four assassins I had sent you, were all Captain ranked soldiers for the military. Old friends of mine that had retired the service. I wanted to see if you could handle yourself and you did."
"But father you already know how I strong I am?"
"Strength means nothing when tactics are cleverly made to outdo even the strongest soldiers. Yes it is true, sometimes the numbers won't make a difference when it comes to strength. However, sometimes you won't always be so lucky. There can be a strong opponent among the weak in disguise. I saw what you did and you have impressed me. I told you years ago that I had received my mechanical right arm due to an ambush. I really received it from my own father due to failing this task. The old ways were worst than what they are now. I was given a lesson even with the strength I had and failed. That's why I had build the reputation of our House to be feared. Because of my disadvantage."
Thaw looked to his arm and then at his father's eyes.
"Would you have done that to me if I had failed?"
Thaw's father had smirked and had his arms to his back.
"I'm not like my father, though you would have gone through tough training that would make you regret failing it in the first place. Good work Thaw."
As much training as Thaw was given, the worst was about to come and even he didn't realize it.

A few years had passed and Thaw stood at the balcony of his palace with a glass of wine underneath his palm. He was in his late teens now and still kept his stance strong and his posture straight. Just behind him would be his father, who easily towered over the boy.
"The saiyans and tuffles haven't liked your approach and our House has become a target for them."
Thaw smirked as he sipped his wine and shifted his eyes towards his father.
"We have the military on our side. I'm not worried."
His father shook his head in disappointment.
"You won't always be shielded forever."
His father had walked away and a few months had passed......
The tuffles and the saiyans had fought each other for those few months, leading to the tuffles coming out on top for once. With their superior intellect and their weaponry, they were now storming Thaw's palace. Footsteps could be heard rushing through the hallways and ki blast fire would be the next series of events unfolding as Thaw's soldiers were one after another, falling down from being fired upon. The tuffles were losing men as well and a three man team had finally arrived at Thaw's domain which was the throne room. They bursted through the room and aiming their sights on him. The leader of the three man tuffle team at stepped forward with an eyepatch covering his left eye and looking to Thaw in anger.
"Thaw your time has come! You won't be building anymore camps on our planets anymore!"
Thaw chuckled as he calmly drank his fine wine and coiled his tail inward.
"It's ashamed that its just you three. I expected a better challenge."
Thaw calmly got up from his chair and kept his arms to his back. The tuffles began to read his power level from their scouters. The leader smirked and charged up his rifle and took aim.
"This must be a joke, his power level is that of a low class saiyans."
The three of them fired their blast upon him and a dark shadow had entered the fray and blocked the incoming attacks. As the smoke cleared and the towering arcosian had emerged, he looked to the three of them and smirked.
"I bet you anything mine isn't!"
The tuffle's had dropped their jaws as they read his father's power level.
"This can't be right, he outranks even the saiyan elites?!"
His father had brushed forward and shoulder bashing the tuffle leader, causing him to break his rifle in half and causing him to fly backwards and against the wall. The other two were grabbed by their necks and thrown to opposite sides of the room with a single thrust one after another. Thaw's father had then opened both his arms outward and fired a beams directly at the two fodder tuffle soldiers and claiming their lives on the spot. The tuffle leader now stood to his feet and looked at Thaw's father with a smirk.
"You may be able to level a saiyan elite, but i'm a tuffle specialist!"
The tuffle leader had vanished, and appearing behind the towering arcosian and planting a bomb onto his back, before flipping over the head of the arcosian and now staring at him face to face before kicking him. He would fly straight into Thaw and the explosion would then occur and as the smoke was still lingering, Thaw's father was too injured to even move, he had protected most of the blast radius by turning around just in time to protect his son.
"Listen to me Thaw, you have to get out of here."
"Father! no I will stand here and fight for our House!"
"I may have trained you for protecting yourself and fighting, but he's outclassed even me. You have to get out of here before it's too late! Don't let our family line die here!"
The smoke had faded and his father couldn't move anymore. The tuffle leader had reloaded his rifle and took aim at Thaw now who was in a panic. Thaw's father had used the last bit of his power to telekinesis his own son out of the window before dying. Thaw had reached the ground level of his now ruin palace and as he laid there, a zarbon race captain level soldier stood near a tree while eating an apple.
"Seems to me like you need some help?"
Thaw had raised himself from the ground and looked at this man.
"What the? who the hell are you?"
"Lets just say I was sent here as backup but I guess there is no palace worth protecting after all. It has collapsed."
The tuffle leader had blown up the window and looking over the ledge to spot Thaw. Thaw looking upward to see him and then he looked at the zarbon race man.
"I will pay you to be my personal guard permanently!"
The zarbon race man had smirked.
"It will be my pleasure!"
The tuffle leader shooting his rifle shot at Thaw and as Thaw's eyes had glared from the light coming from the blast, it shadowed now by the captain who immediately kicked the rifle shot straight into the tuffle leader's body and exploding him into the sky. Still alive, the zarbon man pulling out his twin daggers and slicing up the tuffle leader's arms off and finally decapitating him. He landed next to Thaw and placing his daggers back into their sheaths.
"So about that payment?"
