GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Amara Bloodthorne
ALIASES: Leriac (Cover name)
AGE: Twenty-Two
GENDER: Female
SPECIES: Tuffle-Saiyan, Tuffle Dominant
ARMED & READY [CORE]: NORMALLY this allows Amara to use 1/Thread items 2/Thread instead, but for now she won't be using it...
SALVAGE [CORE]: Thrifty or crafty, Tuffles can get high-powered stuff for pretty cheap - approximately a 20% discount on stuff from the XP item shop. Amara had once dabbled in the field but the stigma of Vegeta quashed that. Maybe it'll resurface soon?
STRATEGIST [OPTIONAL]: Lacking raw power, a pinch of unpredictability goes far on the field of battle. When applying a variant to Light techniques, the first is reduced by 1 TP. Though Amara is a bit too honorable to rely on dirty tactics like THIS for now.
GENERAL TRAITS -
>>DEEP POCKETS: Be it through capsules or sheer hammerspace, Amara can lug an additional two (2) combat items into a thread with her, bringing the total to seven (7).
>>TRUMP CARD: What's better than one super attack? TWO super attacks! Amara is capable of using the same Light OR Medium Sparking Technique twice per thread, with the second use costing +1 MP.
STARTING PLANET: Earth
HOME REGION: No starting region.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE -

BACKGROUND: Saiyans, a species infamous for their power, tenacity, and general ruthlessness. The Planet Plant, now also known by the name Vegeta, serves as their ‘home’ of sorts. This war torn apocalyptic rock of molten fury became the birthplace of generations of Saiyans, Amara included among them. The young were taught a few simple things. They were to grow strong, conquer what was ‘theirs’, and cement a place among the galaxy as the all-powerful warriors they were meant to be. Born the only daughter of a dying lineage known to the Saiyans as House Bloodthorne, Amara was merely the child of Garrick Bloodthorne - the head of a cadet branch in the nobility. At the time this meant elevated status but little else as priority in privilege and leadership was granted to the head of the main branch. House Bloodthorne was one with deep roots in military efforts, both serving and commanding troops for generations. This naturally meant that it was one the Tuffles heard of and grew a fond dislike for.
Amara’s mother, a woman precious few even knew the name of, was a woman considered to be little more than a guilty pleasure that Garrick ‘graciously’ took the child from. Such was not uncommon among nobility, especially in the ranks of the Saiyans as a whole. Despite her dubious nature, the child was declared to be his true heir and child - shocking many in what was considered a politically self-defeating move. While this in of itself may have been an event to push the man even further into obscurity, a tragedy struck shortly after the scandal. Sometime after Amara’s birth, the mainline members of House Bloodthorne were slain in battle - both honorable and deceitful types. Effectively needing to fill the role of the ‘head’, Garrick shouldered much of the responsibility for this new need. He became a well-known General, particularly noted for having a high wound but low mortality rate among troops that served under him. Seeing as there was an active war going on, his ability to spend time with his only daughter faded - though his effort to do so never did. He appointed Korado, a Saiyan hybrid who rose rapidly through the ranks in Garrick’s personal corps, as her surrogate caretaker. For the most part it would be him to teach the girl in both the traditional sense, and in the way of a warrior.
Aside from her teacher and second father figure, the girl made friends with Saiyans outside of the noble court, chief among them being the low-class pair of Carro and Dion. Eager for some interaction with others her age, Amara didn’t think twice about quickly coming to their aid and gaining trust. Protection from hunger and abuse for Carro, and the chance to train and experiment with different foods for Dion. They were her first and strongest friends, though others came and went such as Zhalla or Nero. Garrick at the time took sympathy on the forgotten children, and with their consent eventually arranged for one-way trips off-planet to safer places. Namek for Nero, and Earth for Zhalla followed later by the pair of Carro and Dion. Though sad that her main friends had gone, Amara had aged to the point where she had started to focus on her duties as both a noble and a warrior. While she cared little for politics of any kind, the Saiyan found a kindred spirit in Vocado - a noble at the time who oft attended the same events as she. While never a friend as dear to her heart as Carro or Dion, partially due to her hardened exterior, the boy was much-needed companionship in a time of strife. Though this arrangement too slowly fell from grace as Amara turned to adulthood, her future looked to be a grim sortie of war, politics, and loneliness. At the age of eighteen, things took a turn for the worse. Garrick was killed in an ‘accident’ that served as a thinly veiled assassination. Her father, and one of Vegeta’s most upstanding and talented men, struck down in an instant. She knew not why or who killed him. It could’ve been power hungry Saiyans or revenge-seeking Tuffles, but regardless… he was gone.
Amara buried herself into missions led in-person, delaying her obligations to formally return to Vegeta and act as a backline General and noblewoman - two things she wished to never be. Four years passed and her time was coming to an end as the command structure grew more irritated with her procrastination on the matter, though the choice would be solved once her expeditionary crew straying close to the Milky Way was suddenly hit by pirates amid a meteor belt. While the attack was repelled, major damage was suffered to their vessel and an emergency crash landing needed to be made. Unwilling to land on the closest gas giants for fear of being forgotten and left to starve, the pilots and crew made the willing decision to risk more lives in hopes of aiming for Earth, the closest populated planet. The landing and atmosphere reentry was a slaughter. Only Amara survived due to her Power Level, and even she suffered great wounds and a seemingly crippling injury… her tail had been greatly misaligned during the crash, and it seemed she has lost the ability to take on the form of an Oozaru. Now stuck on a planet far from home with no contact, no supplies, and no power to her name… Amara must build herself a path from scratch, no matter the cost.
